Bought the generator based on features and size, received it nicely deleivered (it is heavy!). It sat for a couple of months before starting it, so put in gasoline and all the other setup instructions, and it would not start. Hooking up a propane tank, it started right up. Getting customer service to help, they walked me through some things to test/try, and further action/service will be needed. The only advice I can give at this time is to run some gasoline through it as soon as you get it, to remove any residual gas that may have been used to test-run the engine before shipping. Looking forward to getting it running on gasoline as well propane!

I bought this to run just my well pump in an emergency. However an electrician friend showed us that this generator was sufficient to run all my refrigeration and light as well as the pump. Our recent storm left us without power for three full days. The generator was easy to set up and get us to a level of comfort.

I was comparing other manufacturers and the Westinghouse model fits our need for a back up power source and has a good price point. The safety features on this model are also a plus. I would recommend this product because of the value and durability.

Arrived over two weeks before it was scheduled. Took no time to set up and test run. Has everything I had hoped for in a portable generator. I live in an area where our power grid often goes out. Thank you Westinghouse for such an outstanding product.

This morning I unpackaged, assembled and test ran the generator. Set-up was super easy and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. After installing the feet and wheels, I added the provided oil, connected the unit to a propane tank and connected the battery. The unit fired up perfectly and easily every time with the electric start button and key fob. Power output worked and I tested the load on power tools, lights and a hairdryer. No issues. Will install electrical plug-in for my panel with an interlock next week. Ready for the Texas storms.

First time buyer of a generator and I am very happy with my purchase. I thought it would be hard to use but surprisingly it's not. Easy instructions for assembly. Everything you need is included. Also, I love the auto start...there is no need for me to walk outside to turn it on/off. Highly recommended!

Bought this unit to serve as a backup to our rural mountain house. Right out of the box, with less than 5 minutes assembly time, I connected it to a fuel source and it started right up! Time will tell, but with the Westinghouse name, I have all the confidence that it will serve our needs with ease.

I brought this because of the recent hurricane we had which left my family without pwr for three weeks. Never again. After much research and talking with friend that have generators, I settled on this one. Eventually wanting to do the manuel generator switch, this would provide plenty of pwr for our home.

Looked at many generators. Living on the gulf coast of Flordia we needed a good powerful one. This 9500 has everything we need. Set up a breeze with very easy to understand directions. Got it delivered at noon unpacked and had it running by 1:30. First generator we ever owned and looks like we got a good one.

I bought this generator a little over a month ago, power went out in my moms house attempted to use it for the first time and motor was locked, power cord did not let me pull it, as well as the push to start option did not work. Followed all instructions of manual. Been trying to use the warranty for over a month but still have not been assisted with getting generator fix/replaced!
