We ordered this unit at end of Oct 2021 and received it less than a month later-very pleased with the delivery and unit is excellent- started right up and purrs like a kitten- very quiet and we believe we made the perfect purchase in generators with this unit. Thank you very much!!

Works very well. I like the dual fuel feature. The build seems of good quality and the control panel is well made. It comes with a battery charger and a start/stop remote control. The owner's manual is complete and the modification to open the neutral is easy.

I purchased this power unit to deal with weather issues that knocked out my power for 4 days during Hurricane Helene. I Have not had a chance to put it to the test yet but it appears to be quite capable of handling my home requirements. The box it came in was a bit banged up when I received the shipment but after opening it appears to be unharmed. I really like the fact that I can used two different fuels and the electric starting will be a major plus. At my age I'm not able to pull start many things especially if it wants to be cranky. The key FOB is definitely a plus not having to go out in bad weather to start the generator. I will follow up with more review after the break-in period. I plan on wiring the unit in thru my exiting breaker box.

After going through numerous generators that just didn't have the performance we had hoped. Our neighbor recommended this brand/model, and being an electrician he offered to wire it directly into our fuse box. So no more extension cords. If you're on the fence about which generator to select, look no further. We are now looking forward to the next power outage.

This generator is so much easier to start by using either the electric start button or remote control. It is also provides so much more flexibility with the ability to use both gas and propane. Although heavy like all generators this size, it is fairly easy to move with the large handle and solid plastic wheels. Would definitely recommend the WGen9500DF for powering the whole house during a power outage having just tested its capabilities by turning off the main breaker and implementing the interlock switch.

I was using a smaller generator running wires into the house when power was out. After a winter ice storm and being out of power for several days, my smaller generator could not handle the load in keeping the house warm. I hired an electrician to add a connection into the house. Hooking up via a 50 amp connection. I tested this generator running the AC. The generator worked fine. I did not notice the generator being drained when running the AC. A lot quieter than I expected. The generator was fairly easy to assemble. With the wheels on, my wife can move the generator back and forth if needed. I am pleased with my purchase. This provides me peace of mind when the power is out.

Had this portable generator for about almost 1 month already and I am eager to use it when the time comes. Bought this for emergency purposes for when we get a power outage due to a strong storm, hurricane or winter preparation. I love the dual fuel, features and ease of use with the electric start and am glad it still has the pull start option just in case it's needed. I highly recommend this generator to friends and family for it's great price, ease of use and product features. We won't get stuck in the dark again.

Purchased this for a business as a backup power to run our primary IT equipment in case of power failure. The dual fuel is nice as we always have propane on hand for our forklift. It delivers plenty of power to keep our main network and few primary servers online in case of a power outage. The push button start and 50 amp twist lock make it quick and simple to start up and connect to our transfer switch to keep things running.

I originally purchased this generator several months ago after pouring and researching through many reviews, suggestions, and comparisons. I was looking for a dependable generator to handle the Texas extreme weather changes and Westinghouse seemed to be the most recommended from other users. I let this generator sit in my garage, as life happens and I got busy with other projects. Three months later, I pulled it out to give it a dry run for the inclement weather we are about to receive here. I filled the oil (which was provided) and gas. It should be noted this particular model arrived with a FOB key, which I paired up and pressed the "start" button. To my excitement, it fired up on the first start. I let it run for several minutes while I grabbed my generator cord and hooked it up to a power inlet I have outside my house. I connected the generator to my 3,000+ sq foot house and walked inside to put it under a load. It performed flawlessly. A great product and very happy thus far with this purchase. Highly recommended and you can't go wrong with a Westinghouse generator.

I bought this generator for small home backup - fridge, freezer, well pump, water heater, etc.... It will not run my A/C or HVAC but I have an electric heater already so I'm good. Easy to setup out of the box, you may need help as it's decently heavy to get out of the box. But setup was a breeze, took my time - 20 min tops. Easy to start - 3 ways - remote, electric or pull. Not nearly as loud as I thought and easy to move with the handle and wheels. I highly recommend. Just waiting for electrician to install my transfer switch and I'm good to go.
