Just purchased it and love it. Using with a propane connection and remote electric start. I love the fact that you don't need to worry about storing old gasoline while it sits in the garage waiting to be used for the next storm outage. The remote start is great and with automatic choke too. The overall appearance is very solid. Nice design.

Purchased the Westinghouse 9500DF February 2023 and so far have put 4 hours on the unit, before power was restored to my dwelling. I have nothing bad to say about the generator as of now. Unit appears to be well built and made with the consumer in mind. User friendly and most importantly love the versatility with the duel fuel option.

I love this machine so much that I bought 2. I have it connected to my home to operate some essentials, like the sewage pump and refrigerators and freezers, but I'm able to also operate my whole house air conditioning with this unit. If I want to run my stove or dryer, I simply turn off the air conditioning while I'm doing those tasks. This got me though 3 day power outages. I love the propane option because I don't have to worry about the gas in the tank going bad.

Easy set up and started in like 2 seconds. Haven't had an outage to use it at full capacity, but looks like it will do the job I need, such as running household necessary things like a small AC, lights, fridge, freezer etc. Moves around easily, and the dual fuel will really be a great help. Seems to be a great product. Actually, I hope I never have to use it at any length, but that is an unrealistic thought as we have power outages from storms etc.

I haven't had to use it yet in an extreme condition but I have ran it and its very reliable. Not really quiet but loud enough to let your neighbors know you have one. I still have a problem with the angle of the oil fill port but other than that no complaints.

I bought this generator due to the variety of features. The important features for me were the quick connect battery, 4 120 outlets, 30 and 50 A connectors, smart switch ready, and the ability to switch between gas and propane. The setup was very quick and easy. I hooked up and let it run for about an hour with the items that I will want to run during power outages and the generator performed very well. Overall it is a very impressive generator.

I purchased this item October 14, 2020 and thankfully I didn't have to use it until the middle of winter here in Louisiana. My old unit was of another brand with 4500 watts output, and just couldn't power enough of the house. This year we experienced a very hard winter with snow and ice with extremely low temperatures for our southern state. Result no electricity for days! I went out and cranked this Westinghouse unit and I couldn't believe how good this system cranks, runs, and powers up my home with no bogging down or problems of any kind. My daughter purchased this generator for me after storm Beryl. I was without electricity for 6 days and no water. I live in the woods and I have a well and septic system. I lost all my frozen food and I am in a wheelchair. So when my daughter sent me the generator was excited. The generator can run on propane and/or gasoline. I now have both and I am prepared for the next electricity outage. I will definitely send another review after its first use

We just got our generator and it was super easy to set up and start. We are still exploring the features, but so far we have been impressed with the remote start, duel fuel, and handle for moving it. It started quickly and was quieter than you might expect for such a large unit.

Just purchased but the instruction guide is clear and am eager to setup and start using. Purchased this to run a small cabin with a well pump. Will be building a small shelter for it and I expect the remote start to be very handy. A little surprised the propane connection is a standard hand screw connection whereas other dual fuel generators Ive used in the past have a quick disconnect. The build quality looks excellent and packaging is robust. Eager to get it started.
