Just set up my generator from Lowe's, the wheels were somewhat easy to install, but you need two people. We found that laying it on its side helped but the cotter pins were a little difficult. Battery charged quickly. I had it ready for a storm but we didn't loose power. The controls and manual are easy to follow. Waiting for an electrician to connect it to my circuit breakers, he said the key fob start will be a great feature.

Read reviews prior to purchase, as you always should when making a purchase of this expense and need for reliable longevity . Too early to comment on longevity but this unit fires right up and goes to work. Performance is outstanding . Read all manuals and see tutorial videos to get the most out of it. It brings the power where and when you need it....

Generator Starts right up, Push start feature is a plus, Remote is nice also. Fuel gauge is nice. Fuel and Gas selector easy to use.50 amp plug a plus. Floating ground option its a plus Its is quite heavy but its expected for size, Sound its comparable to similar Generators. It would be nice if it had a 12 volt output like usb. Instructions are easy to follow and like that it comes with a maintenance schedule sheet. Would of like a slightly larger fuel tank. 8gal at least capacity? Nice that it included Battery, Oil, Funnel, Spark Plug Socket and tools.

This is an excellent quality generator with nice features such as dual fuel, remote electric start, built in charging port with battery tender, multimeter display, 30A and 50A connections, heavy duty wheels and axles to mention a few. It started right up on propane right out of the box! I'm in the process of breaking it in and it handles 3700 watt load changes without skipping a beat! I am very impressed with this generator!

Product arrived with lift gate service provided by the carrier. Packaging was in perfect condition strapped to a pallet. Had to attach two feet and the wheels. Fairly simple to do. Filled the machine with oil and it started on the first try. This of course is a right out of the box review but everything went smooth and I'm very pleased with the whole process.

The item was very well packed and arrived in good condition. The instructions for assembly were clear and assembly was easy. The manual should be updated as to battery connection. The terminals were already installed, all I had to do was connect the polarized plug to connect the battery instead of screw the leads on the battery. That was great. After that, the manual falls short. The assembly instructions stop on page 13, and goes right into the features. There is no mention of adding oil until you get to page 20 which refers you to "See Checking Engine Oil." without a page reference. So I have to search for that in the Table of Contents and go to maintenance section on page 26. Now I have to go back to page 20 and start again. I thought that the setup and preparation for initial operation instructions were too scattered throughout the manual and sometime incomplete For example, on page 22 under Operation, paragraph 3 says "Make sure the circuit breakers are properly set (see Figure 8)." OK, but figure 8 shows the circuit breakers in both the Operating and Tripped position, and doesn't say which is "proper" for starting. Now I know the breakers need to be in the operating position to provide power, but do I want them tripped for startup? I would have liked to see more of an initial setup that walks you straight through all the items needed to check, fill, or service to be ready to start. Very much like a Quick Start guide. Then go into the Before Starting the Generator section which outlines the ventilation, location, grounding requirements, power cord size, etc. I would also like to see a fluid specification chart that tells me the gasoline requirements/capacity as well as the engine oil type and capacity. All on one page or in one paragraph in the initial setup section I proposed.

We bought this for backup for my parents house. They are in a rural area and the power sometimes is intermittent. We paired it with a Generlink transfer switch and a 40lb propane bottle. It started right up and the transition from Gas to Propane never misses a beat. The remote start feature is what sold us on it. They can start it without having to go out in the elements. Really liked that it is backed by Westinghouse. When I was researching the gereratorI talked to their tech support several times and they were very helpful with my questions. That helped solidify my decision to go with this unit.

I bought this a little over a month ago and glad I did! With all this unpredictable weather, it has been nice having this as a back up when the power went out on us one time, with the ability to use either LP or Gas made hooking it up and using it to keep the house warm enough without freezing the pipes was a blessing!!

We purchased this a couple of weeks ago due to an extended power outage in our area. I contacted an electrician about installing a transfer switch and he said he has had quite a few past customers who have purchased Westinghouse. He said he has heard nothing but good things about the unit and we decided to take his advice. Honestly, we have not had to use it yet and hope we never do, but it is a great feeling knowing we have something highly recommended as a backup if ever needed.

Set up was very easy with little effort. Simply snap the clips to connect the battery. Slide the wheels into position and clip the pin. easy. I am using propane, so i attached the propane connector and started up on first push of the button. One item to note is the remote fob was attached to the pull cord of the engine. So at fist glance i thought it was missing. It was not. We are excited to put this to use!
