I bought this a month ago to get ready for any potential power outages in the winter. Setup was very easy and it started on the first try. Everything seems to be working well, and I was able to power some yard equipment. Only issue I have is that the fuel gage does not seem to work. Will be contacting Westinghouse to see if it can be fixed.

Got this generator before storm season. Very powerful but compact and easy to move with strong handle and large wheels. All controls on same side and with two fuels and three ways to start it should be easy to use. Glad to have a well-known company behind it.

So far this has been a great generator. I have ran it 3 times for a few hours and it has worked great and kept my house cool. I ran it first with the propane and it worked great. The box it was delivered in was a little damaged and caused it to have minor damage on the frame but that’s on the delivery company not Westinghouse.

Generator arrived quickly on a pallet & banded with zero damage. Quick easy assembly. Added oil, connected the battery cable added fresh fuel and started on first try effortlessly. So far I am absolutely thrilled to have this at my home in case of power grid failure. I cannot report on durability yet for obvious reasons, however, if build quality is any indicator of durability, this machine should last me a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.

Happy to have a generator so I am prepared for the next power outage. After reading multiple forums this was the clear winner. Generator was packaged well and has everything you need in the box to get started. Feel better knowing I am prepared for the next power outage!

I just received the generator this morning. I connected it to a tank of propane, connected the battery and it started right up. I used both the remote control and the push to start button. It has a pull cord but I haven't tried that yet. It also comes with a charger to keep the battery ready to go.

I bought this unit to run our new home during outages. I did a lot of research and found this unit to be the biggest watt dual fuel available. We tried it out now that I have the cable, discoonnect and separated plug to safely power our home. 50Amps will only run so much, with a freezer and frig, leaves enough for lights, a well pump, and the septic pump. No AC, but we have a working fireplace. Would have given 5 stars, but the unit is loud AND heavy, 200lbs+.

Generator was delivered with no noticeable damage. Opened the box and followed the instructions (Installed Feet, Wheels, Plugged Battery into the quick disconnect, Oil, and 1 gallon of gas. Hit the electric start, starter engaged but then engine did not turn over. Stater started to smoke a little so I immediately disconnected the battery. Tried the pull started and it did not budge. Took the spark plug out to release any pressure, tried the pull start again with the same result. Motor would not budge. Customer Service leaves a lot to be desired.

I received the generator (WGen9500DF) about a month ago, unboxed, installed the wheels, feet and oil. Added fresh fuel and plugged in the battery. At first this unit wouldn’t start. After going back and reading the quick start guide I realized I didn’t turn on the fuel valve, My bad. After turning the fuel valve on I tried again. It cranked twice and fired up. The very first thing I noticed was it was much quieter than I expected. I am comparing this unit to a one year old much smaller Champion. I ran this unit for two hours just to give it some run time before using it as a backup power source for our house. Last night I finally had the need to use it. Power went out, forced are heat went out and the house got cold. Rolled the unit out of the shop and hooked it to my switch. Turned on the fuel valve LOL and it started in less than two seconds in -2 degree temperatures. This thing ran two full size refrigerators a full size freezer, my forced air heater and lights in the house for 6 hours, I was even able to warm up coffee in the microwave, all of this with no light dimming or flickering no problems at all. To say the least, I am very happy with this generator.

Purchased this to hook up to my home for emergency power. I don't plan on going through another winter storm scenario or an outage in sweltering heat. That being said, this unit was extremely easy to set up. Just install the tires, poor the provided oil in and you're ready to go. I ran it for about an hour with a 20lb propane tank with no issues. Surprisingly quiet compare to other generators of it's size. Working on getting another for my parents house.
