This unit comes boxed nicely and sets up very easily. Comes with an easy to understand guide as well as an owners manual that explains things more in depth. I’m still in the break in period but so far so good. My favorite feature is that you can switch between fuels and it stays running. If this review can be updated I’ll be sure to do so after it gets put to use during a power outage.

This generator is the Cadillac of all generators!!! The best of the best highly recommended. It’s fast simple and easy to use. Westinghouse has a great support team and will take care of you! I bought this generator to power my house during monsoon season as power goes out in the crazy heat waves here in Arizona. So far I have ran my 2.5 ton central A/c fridge, chest freezer and garage door opener. Everything else in my house minus the hot water heater stove washer and dryer but who needs those in a heat wave!! If I needed to I could shut everything else down and run those independent. I had people driving up and down my street wondering why my house was lit up while the whole town was out pitch black. My wife says to me I have never seen this many people driving up and down our street. I said they wanna see why our house was lit up and theirs wasn’t. The only thing I can say is do your reasearch and put the right Plug on your house as I did mine twice. I started with the 30 amp and found out that I couldn’t get the full potential of the generator at 12,500 so I had the electrician come back and put the 50 amp on. So I was able to run whole house. 30 amp is limited to 9500 so don’t make the mistake I did.

Im very pleased with this purchase, thus far. Assembled it, poured oil, hooked up LPG & started it remotely (via remote control included). Started up on first crank. Plugged in some electronic devices, etc to test its electrical output & all went well. I look forward in using this when our main electricity goes out.

Bought this after Derecho of Au[gust 2020. Easy to assemble and run. Added oil and gas then started up on gas. Ran good and all the outlets work. Did the same with propane with the same results. We plan on connecting this to the breaker panel the next time we need it. Also plan on using it to run some power tools. Looks like it will be a good investment especially since we have a sump pump that runs quite often.

Daughter bought a smaller model and seemed very happy. I bought the 9500 dual fuel because it is so much simpler to run propane than gas in the event of a brief shutdown. Everything, including oil was provided and I hooked up my grills propane tank and it cranks right up.

I bought this generator shortly after losing power due to Huricane Milton knocking out my power for 2 days. I had breakers set up in my service box so that I can run 50AMPs to my panel when the power is out. There was minimal setup with this. Just a couple wheels, add oil and plug in the battery. The folding handle makes it easy to move around, so the weight of the generator is not an issue. I took it for a test drive. Used the remote FOB. Worked like a charm. Tried th push button start on the generator,,, also worked great. No futzing around with a choke or gasoline. I really like that I can use Propane for this and not have to worry about old gasoline left in the generator. I purchased a few 20LB tanks this will give me more than a 24 hour period of "clean running". There will be enough power here to run my AC Central Air, refridgerator and some lights! I hate to wish for a storm, but I am secretly hoping for a power outage so that I can use it.

I Purchased this Generator after seeing the Performance of one of them that a Family Member had Purchased. I had set it up for them and have seen it used during a Spring Ice Storm Power Outage. I was totally impressed at the Features it has and how easy it is to set up and operate. The push button electric start makes it so easy and it starts right up and the remote control Starting and stopping is great when the need is there to start or stop it remotely. It has many nice features on it that really make it a joy to use. I look forward to many years of service from this Quality Built Generator and Flawless Performance. I highly recommend purchasing a Westinghouse Generator if your in the market for one.

The first thing I noticed about the WGen9500DF was how solid its built, heavy duty. I’m in the industrial mechanical world and this generator has heavy duty hardware, components, and is built to last. Even the product manual tells me they know what they are doing, they mention ethanol issues and show you how to drain the gas/lines to avoid issues. Clear break in instructions and maintenance periods with explanations for each. Designed for easy maintenance. This all is what impresses me most because nowadays most products are not like that, they are built cheap and they don’t care to tell you how to get the longest life from the product. Next thing most are probably concerned with is noise...its not unusually louder then any other gens, I’ve owned others that are definitely louder. Its has a good solid purr and sounds like a healthy engine. I set it about 50’ from my house and inside with the TV on it sounded like my neighbors mowing, not bad. I only run NON ETHANOL gas in my small engines, that and the way this gen is built i feel it will last me a lifetime of use. Cranks right up and makes power, only other features I care about other than above. Thank you!

I bought this during the Tax Free sales week for storm prep and I am so happy that I did....after a lesson from my dad, I am confident that I will be able to easily use this generator, if necessary. I love that it is dual fuel, making it easier for me to keep propane tanks on had, which is cleaner and safer stored outside by my BBQ and I don't have to worry so much about tons of the gas tanks laying around.

i just replaced a 35 year old gas generator with the WGEN9500Fc. It is a very nice product and very user friendly. The set-up was very simple and it is easy to move around. It will run on gas or propane which is a added benefit. The starting system is high tech and very easy to navigate. It has numerous receptacles for drop cords and also attaching to you household electrical system. It is not too loud and does not take up much space. It's a great product to have on hand with all of the weather issues and power outages. I feel great about my purchase and the product overall.*****
