Top roast

Current supplier's quality is not up to standard. The grain in this roast went in so many different directions that it was nearly impossible to cut decent sirloins. Had to make much higher percentage of stew meat.

Sirloin tip roast

I have bought this several and it is the best sirloin tip roast i've bought in quite a while. I can get 3 or 4 good size roast from this whole side which helps me have roast anytime i want to by freezing it.

Not a very tasty cut of meat

I was really hoping for tender and delicious, but it was tough and bland.

Not as labelled.

I found the weight listed on the label does not match the weight of the meat packaged. Since the roast is so large, I usually cut it down into smaller roasts. I used my scale and found the total weight of the roast before cutting did not match the label. Sounds like the pricing includes the weight of the packaging.

Went to waste.

The price was really good but unfortunately, I purchased 3 packs of this meat and one of them even when exp date on the label was good, when I went home and opened it, the meat was bad. It had a very bad smell. I spent $68 on this pack and had to throw it away. Sent an email and never got a response back. Love buying from Sam's club, but never buying meats there again

Good meat

Bought this a month ago and cut it into steaks and roasts. Meat has good flavor and once I master how to cut the meat down it will be even better

Bought this a few times and it’s been expired

I’ve been buying this chunk of meat for quite a while, but in my last three visits twice, the meat smell like it was rotten. I will stop buying this meat even though it’s a really good deal, but I’ve lost my money be aware when buying this even though the expired date is correct but when you open the meat, meat is rotten with a bad smell. I’ve been buying this at the Allentown,PA location. I wish there was a way that Sams could reimburse me for my lost.

Excellent if you know how to cook

I own a restaurant and have been paying $7 to $9 per lb. however these are more for beef stew i make beef tips over rice sells out every time. simple way, cut tips in 1x1 squares. cook on flat top until complementary done. place in deep pan, i use 4'' steam table pan that sams sells. make enough brown gravy to cover the tips completely. ( you might have to use 2 pans if cooking all.) cover with foil, bake at 375-400 for 1.5 to 2 hours checking after 1hour. fall apart in your mouth so good. i just gave you a money making recipe. you welcome..
