I started buying this Member’s Mark sirloin tip for meal prep, and honestly, it’s one of the best deals at Sam’s. The meat is really good quality — tender, flavorful, and cooks up great on the grill or stovetop. I usually cut it into about 10–15 steaks depending on how thick I slice them, and it ends up saving me a ton of money compared to buying individual steaks or eating out. I season and portion everything for the week, freeze a few packs, and it makes meal prep so much easier. Definitely recommend this if you like having good steak on hand without paying restaurant prices.

I bought this for our Christmas dinner - it was delicious! Definitely bigger/more than we needed. I think if I were to buy it again, I would butcher it into a smaller roast and then make steaks with the other part. (I found a YouTube video that showed how to butcher one of these roasts)

It's beef ! I sent this through my electric grinder. I had to grind it twice because there was a lot of gristle and connective tissue. Grinder took care of that. Otherwise it was fine. Made tasty ground beef. Hamburgers and meatloaf etc.. Not sure how it would be as a roast. Decent price for beef, although my grocery store often has beef (usually round) on sale for the same or lower price. Sam's is not ALWAYS the lowest price around.

I have bought this several and it is the best sirloin tip roast i've bought in quite a while. I can get 3 or 4 good size roast from this whole side which helps me have roast anytime i want to by freezing it.

I absolutely love this sirloin tip roast! It’s a bit of a job to cut up into smaller chunks and to remove the silver skin or fat. It’s cooks up very tender and delicious!

This used to be the best! Now covered with grey gristle, silver white inedible tough layer, meat tough and full of adrenaline. I tried pounding it, but kids, wife spit it out and said it was not good meat. Tried it in stew and kids choked because of all the silver grey gristle coating it. Could not chew it. Really disappointed as this used to be great. Might be ok if you could grind it up for hamburger, or put it in blender and make dog food… Will not purchase again until they get edible meat.

Sirloin Tip contained many internal membranes making a very tough once cooked. If the membranes are manually removed, the leftover meat is only suitable for stew or ground up into hamburger.

Current supplier's quality is not up to standard. The grain in this roast went in so many different directions that it was nearly impossible to cut decent sirloins. Had to make much higher percentage of stew meat.

I have bought sirloin roasts before to cut into steaks at other locations, this one was old and smelled bad. The guy in the meat cutting area was rude and ignoring all customers. Very disappointed since I lost a lot of money on that roast.

we have been buying these for a couple of years to cut up at home, but the last one we got was bad. smelled rotted and had clearly been damaged.
