We buy these avocados often and they are wonderful. Today's purchase was overripe, bruised, and black inside. Three and a half of the five avocados went in the trash. Very disappointed! This order was online and picked up at the store. We did not select them and will never again order fruits or vegetables trusting someone else to make our selection.

Decent produce. Lacking flavor and sweetness due to the chemical used to grow them. These are ok in a pinch but prefer organic for texture and sweetness and flavor not good to eat raw. Ok to smash into a recipe where you can’t taste how bland they are.

Seems when I first started giving these avocados they were so good. I could almost depend on getting a good batch, but this year I’m batting two out of five. I love avocados and I know it’s kind of hard to know when you’re gonna get a good one, but the hodge used to be much better.

I have bought avocados at Sam's before and was very happy with the quality. I bought these in a pick up order. When I cut them open, 3 out of the five avocados were rotten. Since I live 30 miles from the nearest Sam's, I didn't bother trying to return them. Only 2 good avocados makes these pretty expensive.

The first purchase of avocados was excellent. They were all medium and large and firm. They were able to last a few days in the fridge. They tasted excellent. I have the Plus service so mine were delivered and that is a great benefit for me. I greatly appreciate my pickers!

At the first of the season, the avocados were huge, beautiful and well worth the price. However, as the season has gone on, the quality has decreased. We buy at lease one bag a week, sometimes two a weel. While supplies do change, the quality standards should be held the same when the same price will be charged. That has not happened at our Sam's. The avocados have varied a great deal in size, having gone from only one fits in your hand, to being able to fold my hand around them (but they added one more to those bags, it seemed - we had a couple bags with six instead of five). The last two bags brought home were VERY disappointing. All the avocados were at the completely ripe point, and had to be dealt with immediately, instead of enjoying them throughout the week. There were several with bad spots as well, which has not been the case at the start of the season. Not sure what they are doing with the avocados, but the quality is varying a great deal, which is something the produce manager should be on top of to assure customers get a good product for the premium price they are paying.

I've been purchasing these avocados for years, and they had been one of top five my staple buys at Sams. Not anymore. They are now from Peru and not Mexico. I had to toss out all 5 avocados. They went from being unripe (hard and lumpy) to rotten. The mid-ripe avocados had sections that were hard and sections that were brown. No middle, avocado goodness middle ground! Unfortunately, I had ordered pick-up. If I had seen them in the store as "Peru" I would not have purchased them. Buyer beware.

The quality of the avocados have dropped since Sam’s is bringing avocados from Peru. I bet all those great reviews were written based on the avocados from Mexico. The ones from Peru they go from hard to rotten without passing by the ripe state. The have almost no flavor.

I love this bag of avocados! We will put them in a bowl on the counter until they ripen, then put the bowl in the fridge to slow/stop the ripening process, using them as needed. Homemade gaucamole is the best! We also add to chili, fajitas, salads, %26 soups 🥰

The last month or so the Avocado's have been rock hard and brown with black spots inside. They will not split in half when cut, the seed sticks to the Avocado even when there is mold starting to form around stem. First time in a year I had to take them back and get a refund. Sam's gladly refunded my money, but when I asked about bad Avocados they said I was the only one to complain.
