We buy these avocados often and they are wonderful. Today's purchase was overripe, bruised, and black inside. Three and a half of the five avocados went in the trash. Very disappointed! This order was online and picked up at the store. We did not select them and will never again order fruits or vegetables trusting someone else to make our selection.

At the first of the season, the avocados were huge, beautiful and well worth the price. However, as the season has gone on, the quality has decreased. We buy at lease one bag a week, sometimes two a weel. While supplies do change, the quality standards should be held the same when the same price will be charged. That has not happened at our Sam's. The avocados have varied a great deal in size, having gone from only one fits in your hand, to being able to fold my hand around them (but they added one more to those bags, it seemed - we had a couple bags with six instead of five). The last two bags brought home were VERY disappointing. All the avocados were at the completely ripe point, and had to be dealt with immediately, instead of enjoying them throughout the week. There were several with bad spots as well, which has not been the case at the start of the season. Not sure what they are doing with the avocados, but the quality is varying a great deal, which is something the produce manager should be on top of to assure customers get a good product for the premium price they are paying.

Seems when I first started giving these avocados they were so good. I could almost depend on getting a good batch, but this year I’m batting two out of five. I love avocados and I know it’s kind of hard to know when you’re gonna get a good one, but the hodge used to be much better.

The quality of the avocados have dropped since Sam’s is bringing avocados from Peru. I bet all those great reviews were written based on the avocados from Mexico. The ones from Peru they go from hard to rotten without passing by the ripe state. The have almost no flavor.

The first purchase of avocados was excellent. They were all medium and large and firm. They were able to last a few days in the fridge. They tasted excellent. I have the Plus service so mine were delivered and that is a great benefit for me. I greatly appreciate my pickers!

These avacados recently are different than what we had in the past. Seems like they are picking them early and freezing them or something. They don't ripen normal and they are not worth buying because you'll waste the whole bag. I've bought at least 7 bags in the last 6 weeks. All have been the same.

We've used these at our restaurant for over four years. It's probably the most expensive ingredient other than beef. When they're good, they're good. Problem is, I've routinely had to throw out one or two a bag. We always try to buy them unripe and let them ripen at room temp, but we've been having a serious problem with "brown" avocado when we open them up. I don't know why they are so unreliable, but they are. I know avocados and we treat them with kid gloves, but we're actively looking for another supplier since we've had such a problem with these.

I love this bag of avocados! We will put them in a bowl on the counter until they ripen, then put the bowl in the fridge to slow/stop the ripening process, using them as needed. Homemade gaucamole is the best! We also add to chili, fajitas, salads, %26 soups 🥰

The last bag of avocados purchased from Sam's were very soft & beginning to turn brown inside (rot). We didn't notice until the next day, as we'd chosen curbside pickup on our way home from a 2-day trip. Avocados from Sam's are typically firm & take several days to ripen in the refrigerator, then usually stay perfectly ripe well over a week in the refrigerator. We should've learned not to order produce for curbside pickup, since we've previously gotten bagged salad kits that were at the end of their "best used by" date & other produce past its prime, none of which we would choose if shopping in the store.

I hadn't bought avocados from Samsclub bcuz it was ALWAYS hit or miss MAINLY miss. This time HIT..I left on counter %26 4 of 5 were soft, made the a very very creamy guacamole %26 I only needed seasoning..muy deliciousoso! Unfamiliar with the brand, BUT I'll buy again with fingers crossed.
