We are not fans of this Member's Mark potato salad. This is the second time I purchased and returned this... once last year and again last week. I thought maybe I had gotten a bad batch previously - we really wanted to like this. The potatoes are over-cooked; carrots and celery are minimal and there is too much mayo/salad dressing. There is no comparing of this Member's Mark potato salad and the St Claire Redskin Potato Salad that Sam's used to carry. It was delicious, affordable and as close to homemade as you could get. Everyone loved it! PLEASE bring back the St Claire brand!!

Never again will I cook, peel and cut potatoes when there's this good of potato salad 'ready for pickup'....I emptied in bowl, added some fresh onion, decorated with sliced boiled eggs, and all had 'second helpings' which always the 'proof of the pudding' label!

Best “store bought” potato salad we’ve ever had. Doesn’t taste store bought; tastes like homemade. Why would anyone go to the trouble of making potato salad at home, which is A LOT of work, when you can buy ready made that tastes this good. We will definitely be buying this from now on!

I bought this potato salad last week, everyone in my house hold agrees the potato salad is way too sweet. It taste like a Sweet Pickle Relish times 10. Besides that the size of the potatoes and and the vegetables are cut a nice size. I could not eat more than 2 bites of it.

Within the last month we bought our LAST Southern Style Potato Salad. It is not the same as the old receipe. I totally agree that the potatoes are harder and and have a grainy feel. It's as though the potatoes are not completely cooked. The sweet & tangy taste is no more. It is inferior to the old delicious receipe. You insist it is the same but the different packaging says otherwise. We gave it a try anyway and will not buy it again.

This potato salad is better than many homemade recipes I had over the years. Originally thought it was too sweet but six chopped eggs cut the sweetness perfectly. Served this at a family reunion and my nephew kept repeating how he couldn't believe it wasn't homemade.

I miss the red potato salad Sam's used to sell (not that loaded potato salad). This Southern potato salad is waaaayyyyy to sweet for my tastes. I had to add a little vinegar, but even then it's just too sweet overall. I won't be buying it again. Bring back the brand that started with R. Sorry, Member's Mark potato salad isn't as good.

The Member's Mark Southern Style is NO WHERE as good as the St.Clair Potato Salad. I even went on the St.Clair website which indicates that they collaborated with Sam's to develop the Southern Style product. To that I say...PLEASE RETHINK THIS DECISION & GO BACK TO THE OLD RECIPE. The the flavor is not as good and the potatoes are much harder.

This has to be one of the worst potato salads I've ever had. So sweet it was overbearing. Claims to have celery in it, but didn't see any at all. does have a couple of red specks in it. I assume is pepper? Very dry as well. Ive tried all three of Sam's potato salads now and this one was terrible! Ive added mayo, onion and celery to it, along with some dill pickle juice in an attempt to cut the sickening sweet. I don't know if that will make it palatable or it will just get tossed.

My husband says this Is absolutely the best potato salad he has tasted, except for his Mom's. At 81 years old he is a connoisseur of potato salad, tasting hundreds of versions-- homemade, sold at delicatessens or served in a restaurant. He described Member's Mark Southern Style Potato Salad as commensurate with homemade in quality with wholesome ingredients, and no evidence of chemicals or after taste. This product deserves a gold medal. My husband is available to serve samples at the Concord store to share his secret discovery to all shoppers who want to taste real gold. He only asks that he be compensated in Southern Style Potato Salad. He has also agreed to filming a commercial at your convenience.
