I have bought the old-fashioned potato salad, which was excellent. I bought the southern style potato salad thinking it was going to be good and it was not. It was very sweet and soupy.

Too much mustard & dressing is thick and pasty. Didn't like texture. Wouldn't serve this to company. Not nearly as good Stonemill Kitchens, which was almost as good as homemade.

Loved this potato salad! tastes homemade and best I have ever boughten. However, I went to buy it again for a special girls weekend and was out of stock. I was bragging about how good it was. I hope it comes back in stock soon.

Trying this for the first time I was very surprised at the extremely sweet taste. Checking the label, there is 11 grams of sugar per two-thirds cup serving. Personally I think potato salad should be savory, not sweet. I didn't think it was necessary to check the label of potato salad for sugar content. I am prediabetic, and was planning to give half to my diabetic mother-in-law, but it isn't healthy for either of us. There is way too much sugar added to many foods, contributing to the epidemic of diabetes, and I think it is completely unnecessary in potato salad,

Decent taste, my third choice of the brands that you were carrying. My favorite is the redskin potato salad, 2nd is the loaded potato salad. I have not been able to get my number one and number two choice so I settled for the third one. The only one being offered currently.

I bought 20# of St.Clair potato salad for a Baby Shower BBQ yesterday. I was counting on the good reviews I read here and I wasn't disappointed. I'm not exaggerating, this potato salad is delicious! The taste of the red onion and celery really comes through, it's creamy and has great flavor. I've done the painstaking work of making homemade potato salad in the past and it never tasted this good! My cousin said he doesn't even like potato salad but thought this one was awesome and asked me if I made it, and I wanted to say I did LOL. I'll be buying this again especially for family and work functions. You can't make 5# of potato salad for this price and that tastes this good!

Within the last month we bought our LAST Southern Style Potato Salad. It is not the same as the old receipe. I totally agree that the potatoes are harder and and have a grainy feel. It's as though the potatoes are not completely cooked. The sweet & tangy taste is no more. It is inferior to the old delicious receipe. You insist it is the same but the different packaging says otherwise. We gave it a try anyway and will not buy it again.

This has to be one of the worst potato salads I've ever had. So sweet it was overbearing. Claims to have celery in it, but didn't see any at all. does have a couple of red specks in it. I assume is pepper? Very dry as well. Ive tried all three of Sam's potato salads now and this one was terrible! Ive added mayo, onion and celery to it, along with some dill pickle juice in an attempt to cut the sickening sweet. I don't know if that will make it palatable or it will just get tossed.
