Lately I've had a hard time finding good potato salad and at a reasonable price. I saw this and gave it a try. It is by far some of the best potato salad I have gotten from a store and the price is reasonable for a 5 lb container. I won't buy any other potato salad now. This is now my go-to!

My great aunt from Mississippi who no longer cooks but loves anything ending in “salad” thinks this potato salad is far and away better than the local supermarkets deli potato salad. It’s thicker, more potatoes and she says it’s got great flavor, if you’re not making it homemade this is a great alternative.

Put in a pretty bowl and took to church potluck, everyone was asking for the recipe. We all got a good laugh when I told them my friend Sam helped me make it.

I love potato salad. I used to buy it at Walmart and a few other places, but everybody's gotta change the recipe and this taste like the potato salad when I was growing up minus the olives my dad loved olives. Biggest issue is it's 5 pounds. It's a lot of potato salad for one person to eat, and you can exactly freeze it. Lol

We enhance it by adding 8-10 hard boiled eggs. It’s not potato salad without the eggs! Makes it more creamy and flavorful. YUM!!!!!!

I brought this to a church dinner, putting it in my own bowl. I added 5 hard boil eggs chopped and a couple of table spoons of sweet relish. Everyone went on and on about how good it was. A few even told me that a few days later. It really didn't need what I added . I did it to add to the number of servings.

We don't even bother to make potato salad for gatherings anymore. LOL And we no longer have to wait for picnics or cookouts or holidays to enjoy it. Which is wonderful for the taste buds, but potentially hazardous to the waistlines. If you're feeling particularly fancy, go ahead and add boiled eggs and smoked paprika.

Needed a quick side for a last minute dinner. This “southern Style” potato salad wasn't bad at all. It's mayo/mustard based. Do wish it had “cleaner ingredients”. Only complaint was it was a little bit sweet. But wasn't too bad for not being homemade. Would purchase again if ever in a pinch again.

This would have been great if it didn't have too much sugar in it. Too sweet for my family and I, it was more like a dessert, only potato salad.. weird.. We finished it so it wouldn't go to waste, but I wont be buying it again. If you don't mind sweet potato salad though, this is good quality.

I have bought the old-fashioned potato salad, which was excellent. I bought the southern style potato salad thinking it was going to be good and it was not. It was very sweet and soupy.
