I really wanted to love this for my truck obsessed son but honestly I’d rather just get a plastic pool. It’s way too small and my kid is only average height. He can fit in it but that’s it. There is barely room for him to sit and scoop. The lid is not easy to put on and off and sand gets under the excavator that it stopped being able to swivel after 2 days. The dump truck it comes with doesn’t even dump but the shovel seems good quality. I’m returning because it’s overpriced for what it is.

Bought for my 2-yr old grandson - who loves to play outside and love trucks and tractors. I'm sure he will love this! It is hard plastic - bright colors. Liked that it came with the accessories pictured - shovel, truck, etc. Also liked the fact it came with a cover.

I know many people complained the size. Come on guys, did your pay $400 or $40? If you paid the latter, dont complain about the size. This sand box is not meant for a kids to sit it. Its perfect size for us to use as a construction site sandbox. Kids( 2 and 3) love it super and kept them busy here for hours. Quality is great and solids. I love it comes with cover and we dont have to worry about rainy days.

Love it! I wanted a smaller sandbox. My son loves it. My only cons are the lid takes a little extra effort to put back in, and the excavator doesn’t spin well when sand gets in the space below it. Some people used two bags of sand. I used one and it was plenty!

This Little Tikes Big Digger sandbox with lid is so small but its a lot of fun for little toddler/preschoolers. As others have said, the manufacturers information is misleading. The sandbox itself is only 8 inches tall and about 25 inches wide. The box rim has openings all along it so you can't fill to the top with sand. This can hold exactly 100 lbs of sand. The excavator is very cool and its the reason that we chose to buy this. We have a 2 yr old and 3-1/2 year old playing with this and they both love it so much. They have spent a lot of hours this week digging in the sand.

Set up was frustrating. We could not find the screws to affix the backhoe or digger part. We finally bought some. Worried how long that part will hold up. It is much smaller than I thought it would be, but the three year old grandson seems to love it. I love the lid that attaches to be a ramp.

I love it! My son spends most of the day in it with his trucks. Used one bag of 50lb sand inside. I put it underneath a playset. I love how it is not huge and in manageable like the old sandboxes. If your looking for a larger sandbox this is NOT it! Only negative is it arrived cracked where the excavator is- not worth the hassle of the return.

My son loves this!! It is smaller in size so not a traditional sandbox that he can sit in but I like it better. He sits on the outside and plays in the sand. Love that it has the excavator attached. Very easy to set up. Comes with cute accessories. The lid is great to keep rain and cats out of the sand and it doubles as a ramp to drive the truck on. I used one 50 pound bag of play sand. It could hold more but 1 bag is perfect to dig and play and still be able to store toys in and put the lid on when we're done

This product is not too big for my patio in my townhouse as I thought it might be. I like the very important and needed cover and the fact that the cover is a added play equipment item, adding to the fun. The back hoe is awesome and so much fun for my grandson, I really love this sandbox.

I bought this sandbox for my granddaughter. It is exactly as described. Easy to assemble and super cute. Most importantly, she loves it and hasn't bored of it yet. The digger and additional accessories are awesome too. We used 2 50lbs bags of sand to fill it. The lid fits perfectly and is easy to close.
