I originally bought this for our little guy's 3rd birthday, and he loved it sooo much. When playing alone, he's able to fit inside the box and play in there with the sand and toys. However, this also turned out to be a hit for my 3, 5 AND 10 y.o to play together. On the tiny side which doesn't allow them to sit inside together but they were all able to build castles and play with the trucks while sitting on the perimeter. 100% recommend.
