The Little Tikes Big Digger Sandbox has been a huge hit with my 2-year-old! He can spend hours playing, digging, and scooping sand, keeping him entertained and happy. I originally bought this for our little guy's 3rd birthday, and he loved it sooo much. When playing alone, he's able to fit inside the box and play in there with the sand and toys. However, this also turned out to be a hit for my 3, 5 AND 10 y.o to play together. On the tiny side which doesn't allow them to sit inside together but they were all able to build castles and play with the trucks while sitting on the perimeter. 100% recommend.

We tried sand but it got all over the kids and now we use river pebbles that are about the size of a half dollar coin. Makes clean up so much easier.

Easy to put together! My toddler loves it! It came with dump trucks %26 scoops! He especially likes the crane! I went to Thrift store %26 bought more dump trucks to add more fun! RECOMMEND!! The lid keeps cats %26 other animals out when not using! The lid is a little difficult to remove but it’s worth the little extra trouble! You have to lift and pull a certain way because of the crane! This brings a lot of JOY to toddler!

Absolutely wonderful buy for my girl. Added a 20 lb bag of sand and that was it. She absolutely love it !

My kids are so excited over this! It looks like it has a lot of room and I love how the top closes and makes a lid for it he sand to be covered! This would even be perfect as a gift!

my 2 year old loves this sandbox and overall its good quality. my only complaint is that the lid is a little hard to get on and off (gets caught on the excavator), and when it rained hard this week a lot of water got inside the sandbox, so the lid only seems to keep water out if its a light rain. its also a little hard for my 2 year old to manuever the excavator, so might be best for 2.5/3 yesrs old and up

My 2.5 year old loves this sandbox!!! However it is small. It’s hard for him to sit inside it and play with the sand but he makes it work. And for a car obsessed little boy, the ramp is everything!

This was sadly disappointing. It has a great visual style, but execution isn't the best. We purchased this for an Easter gift for my 3 year old girl. We put Deer Corn in it instead of sand. (Although we did use sand as well) We kept it tightly covered hoping to prevent moisture from getting in, however, it didn't work. The lid is not a tight squeeze fit, and there are still holes and gaps that allowed moisture to get in. This in turn caused the corn (and sand) to become moldy and cause an infestation of ear wigs! If only the lid were made better to fit tighter and the attached pieces weren't as loose, there wouldn't be gaps that allowed moisture to get in. It was a one summer use toy for us and we are planning to get rid of it.
