I slow cook at 225 degrees and can always depend on this roast to be the talk of any event The problem is that Sam’s Club doesn’t have enough at holiday time and I have to buy elsewhere for sometimes $4.00 a pound more and get a lesser product My family expects this toast at holiday gatherings

Actually feel that this was a ripoff. Very deceiving on the description and packaging. The packaging description makes you feel like your getting a trimmed center cut of the fillet when your actually just getting a fillet that has had the small amount of fat trimmed and the tail end is folded over making it appear like your getting a nice center cut trimmed piece of meat.Very disappointing. Nowhere near worth the up-charge

Amateurish butchering. I have had far better roasting tenderloins than this from Sam’s in terms of butchering - a lot of cutting errors that had to be accommodated in trimming and tying. (All of these have been amateurishly butchered, but this one took the cake!) Very fatty, too - as if they didn’t bother trimming at all. Ended up with a 4 lb chateaubriand, including head and tail; 15 oz of silver skin and fat; and another 15 oz of trimmed stew meat.

I have been buying the Angus beef tenderloin from Sam's Club for three years now and I am always satisfied by the quality and taste. We usually cut the tenderloin into filet steaks, Chateaubriand, and diced for other meals. Therefore, we usually get at least four great meals to feed our family of four from each tenderloin.

This was for my MIL's birthday. She has a limited appetite, normally has a couple of bites, but she ate a full portion. My nephews seemed to enjoy the meal as well, getting seconds. It is easy to prepare a great meal with the quality meat Sam's provides. Keep up the good work!

I was disappointed that my usual purchase of filet was not available. We love Sam’s choice and prime filet. The lady working in the meat department suggested the entire piece and to cut it myself. It was good but not quite the same. Maybe I needed to cut it a little thicker?

As good as a high priced restaurant

It was not as good as others that I have purchased

for 31.77 a pound I expected it to be trimmed better. It was okay, but not worth what we paid.

Great quality with minimal fat!
