The extra trim was well worth it.

This is an expensive cut of meat that I serve every Christmas to my family. Buying the meat trimmed allows me to enjoy the day without struggling to remove the silver skin. The butcher has the right tools and skills. I’ve purchased these trimmed beef tenderloins from Sam’s for at least 10 years and have never been disappointed. My family has come to expect this wonderful entre.

The top 2/3 of meat looked ok. As I started cutting the rest of way down it was very bloody & large blood clots. I could not feed family this not knowing reason why all of the blood clots. For safety reason I returned the filet to Sam’s. No questions asked at return counter. They credited back my Sam’s card 191.00dollars. Prompt service !

Excellent quality and normally obtain 14 to 16 nice steaks when butchered.
