meat tasted fresh and had a good taste

A nice large bottom round roast that we cut in half. We cooked one half for French Dip Sandwiches. They turned out wonderful; with the roast having a great taste. The other half we have frozen, but look forward to enjoying it sometime soon as well.

THE PERFECT meat to cook Sous Vide at 131 degrees for 18-24 hours. Sliced for the VERY BEST ROAST BEEF sandwiches. Yuuummm... Some have complained about the fat/marbling which is necessary for a flavorful result.... GREAT for the CARNIVORE diet which is now recommended :-)

I put this in the CrockPot for 8+hrs along with Onions, carrots and potatoes and everything turned out well except the roast. It was done for sure because I ended up slicing it to serve. Just not a very good grade of roast beef( coming from my son-in-law who has been a butcher for over 34 years. It had a good taste but we ended up feeding it to the neighborhood Ferrell dogs.

We used roast to make deli style thin sliced sandwich meat. Great cut to use for this purpose.

a little tough and grisly

I cooked this roast on low for 12 hours. It was incredibly tough. I was disappointed.
