I bought a 4# Bottom Round roast for two people so I divided it at home and used 2# for a Mississippi pot roast in a slow cooker. Delicious and had the same texture and flavor as my Mom's pressure cooker pot roasts, my favorite meal as a child. Enough drippings to make a wonderful gravy so this choice was like reliving my childhood.

Once I saw this on the rack, I had to get it because it's the cheaper steak for my keto-carnivore diet. I sliced it in a way where it would suit me best. Cutting through it is easy. The fat in the grain looks very nice. It tastes very good after seasoning it and cooking it.

I thought I would splurge and have roast beef dinner. The longer it cooked the more it shrank. Turned out a little bigger than a meatball. I am thinking it was just a shell they filled up with water, seems that there was an unusual amount of liquid from this roast. What meat was available for the family was stringy, kinda like shoelaces.

An easy dinner put in a crockpot forget about it the smell calls you when it’s done.

A little dry when cooked but a good price and will look up ways to tenderize before cooking. I slice it as steaks and for stir fry.

Beef is expensive these days and Sams had some good prices on quality cut roast.

I cooked as a medium done roast. The flavor was great, but I could not figure any direction to cut it that didn't have really chewy parts.

Good flavor but do not recommend it for a French stew. Though it was recommended. However, the texture when chewing resembled a breakdown like roast beef and not firm chew

Seems it's policy to include the weight of the packaging in the price of the product. I cut large large roasts into smaller roasts. But when I weighed the roast before cutting it down, it was less than the label listed weight.

Versatile and tender. Cooked in the crock pot, on low for 10 hours. We've had sliced roast beef, beef Manhattan's then made barbecue from the leftovrrs.
