Had bad smell no matter how I cooked. I made a stew and curry, then had to let the leftover meat to the trashcan.

My family loves this roast. I cook at 350 degrees for about 3 hours. We like it well done, and its so tender.

Affordable. Needed a little tenderizing. Ample size for just the two of us. Sliced the remainder and froze it to cut up later for use in salads, wraps, etc...

So I wasn’t sure what to expect this was my first time buying mean from Sam’s and I was very happy with this choice. I made a delicious roast and I couldn’t have been happier.

After seasoning the roast, I cooked it in crockpot about 8 hours, shredded it and served on top of mashed potatoes. It was well received by family and vacuum sealed left overs and froze them.

I got this at a really great price. Made a roast. Was a better cut than what I bought at Winn Dixie. Makes a juicy roast especially if you sear first and slow cook fat up.

Never had issues with Sams till we bought this roast. We cut it into 3 sections and we ate the end of the first cut. 2nd cut later we cooked it in a crock pot. We could not eat it. had a hard time cutting it and could not chew it. finally gave up.
