Meat was tough.

I season my roast two days before I want to eat it. I also cut slits all over it and stuff it with garlic. Let it sit overnight. Next day, get a pan with oil and brown all of the sides of the roast. Make some brown gravy and slice up an onion and put it in the crockpot on high for 5-6 hours or until fork tender.separate the gravy from the roast. Then put the roast back in the fridge along with the gravy. Take it out the next day, so u can slice the roast very thin... and warm up the roast in your gravy. Man! What a hearty, filling, tasty meal. Thx Sam's!

It never cooked though correctly, never started falling apart like it usually does it came out a hard lump of meat that was not edible... ive cooked many many roasts the small exact way and they have all been juicy tender fall apart roasts. I was extremely disappointed in the quality. Imagine waiting all day ona roast only to not be able to eat it at the end of the day....
