Purchased this gate for a group toddler room so we could open door to feel air in the hallways without having kids run out. It's a perfect height and easy for adults to get in and out. Our only downfall is the pressure mount is not as easy to install in the doorway as it appears, and if not installed correctly, it does fall or come out of place. When installed correctly, it is a wonderful gate! I do recommend this bc it is made of sturdy quality, looks expensive but actually only cost around $30. It serves its purpose.

I ordered two of these gates to help my little yorkies stay in the kitchen area. Previously I had shorter gates, 18inches high made for tiny dogs. At five months old and only five pds, my little yorkie would scale over it and so I purchased these two. They were wonderful, easy to put up, ease of opening to step thru. The only problem I had and it had nonething to do with the gate at all was that my little smart yorkie squeezed herself right thru the bars. I did not believe it til I watched her do it. My hubby put some wire screening over the bars and fastened it with cable ties. Now this works great for that little "Houdini" and the gates are wonderful. I would recommend them.

We wanted something to block the dogs off from the kids rooms...to prevent chewed up toys....but still wanted the kids (preschool age) to be able to access there room without help. It worked!!! we just don't use the safety lock feature (gates still stay closed w/o it). everyone can get into there rooms without the chewing pups (and w/o mom having to drop everything and come and help). Gates are made of sturdy metal and ajust to fit wide door frames......Loooove the gates. they have helped us soooo much.

I should have bought this when my baby first started crawling because its so much easier to contain him to the play area. I really like that it's able to stay closed without actually locking it so that my 2 year old can still lift the latch to come in and out (since he's potty training and needs to run to the BR). I didn't actually mount it because the instructions say that mounting the wall cups is only absolutely necessary if you're placing the gate at the top of a staircase. The pressure is enough to hold it; it's been up for 2 weeks and hasn't moved at all. I think I'll buy another one to put in the doorway of my boys' bedroom so that when I start putting baby in his toddler bed I don't have to worry about him getting up and wandering around the house.

This gate looked similar to the Evenflo gate that we already have, but the quality isn't nearly as good or as easy to use. The gate didn't grip well in our door frame, and we took it down right away because we were sure that our 19 mo baby would be able to push it out. Also, the handle mechanism is too difficult to operate with one hand.

I read the reviews and even though there were complaints, I ordered the gate anyway. It is very easy to put up and even easier to use, even while holding a fit throwing one year old! I had to use the extension and even being 9 months pregnant it took less than 5 minutes to set up. It is VERY sturdy.

This is the third one of these gates I have purchased from Walmart.com. Each one has been less expensive that the others. One I used to black a door from dog and cats. The other two are used to block the dog from entry to rooms I want the cat's to have access, so I raised them about 8 inches off the floor and this works excellent. I have used other gates and these will do what I want, are excelent quality and at a very good price.

Bought this gate thinking it would be perfect for where I needed it. The opening was too narrow. It did a good job keeping my dogs out of where they are not allowed to be. But it was difficult to get my husband's drum set though when he had gigs. Ended up returning it and got something that fitted my needs.

It’s great that now I don’t have to take down a baby gate whenever I leave my sons room I’m short so I can’t step over baby gate. I haven’t had any problem with it couldn’t mount it tho because my frames are metal but it’s pretty sturdy haven’t had any problems and my son doesn’t even touch it.

This gate is fairly sturdy, and I will be keeping it up, hoewever it was not very easy to install. I am using it at the top of a staircase, and it was impossible to make the bottom of the gate flush with the floor. It could not be maneuvered around the baseboard on my walls. This makes it awkward to go down the stairs. This gate is also not nearly as adjustable in size as the description states. Overall, not a terrible value for the money, but not a fantastic find, either.
