This gate is easy to install and even easier to use. It keeps the pig and dog where I want them but allows the cat to jump over and go where he wants, exactly what I needed! I will be sure to recommend this to anyone with pets or children. This is the best swing gate you can buy for less than $70.

After reading a few other reviews, I was skeptical about getting this gate.. But I was getting tired of our old gate that has to be removed every time you want to walk through the doorway while carrying something. Having read other reviews about installation being confusing and difficult, I carefully read the directions before trying to install the gate. It was the easiest installation ever!! It only took me about 3-4 minutes to install!! (I did not need the cups that required drilling as it was not being installed on our stariway). The gate is nice and sturdy!! I have 2 large rowdy Labradors and they haven't even been able to loosen it or anything!! I am so happy with purchasing this gate!! I will definitely be getting another one!!

This gate was easy to assemble and can be moved from doorway to opening over the stairs in a matter of minutes. It is very sturdy. It is great to be able to use the swing gate rather than take the whole gate down for access beyond the gate, especially with toddlers following behind you.

I purchased a Regalo baby gate in my local Wal-Mart, but needed two, and they only had one. I purchased one online since none of the other local Wal-Mart's had any in stock. The one delivered is either an earlier model or perhaps it is the latest model. My recommendation would be to go back to the easier to use latch system that simply has a button to push and then slide. The one I ordered has a different latch that is not as easy to use. Other than that, we love the product. It looks much nicer than the wooden slide gates we had up before, and it is much easier to go in and out with the swinging door.

This gate looked similar to the Evenflo gate that we already have, but the quality isn't nearly as good or as easy to use. The gate didn't grip well in our door frame, and we took it down right away because we were sure that our 19 mo baby would be able to push it out. Also, the handle mechanism is too difficult to operate with one hand.

15 YEARS AGO I BROUGHT HOME TWO MALE CHIUA'S RADAR AND BRUTUS. I BOUGHT THE WOODEN GATES FOR BABY'S THEY CHEWED THRU 5 SETS BEFORE THEY WERE OUT OF THIER "PUPPY" YEARS. MARCH 9TH I HAD TO MAKE THE HARDEST DISCISSION OF M LIFE AND PUT RADAR TO SLEEP, CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE. EVEN THO WE STILL HAD BRUTUS,WHO HAS ADDISONS, STAYS TO HIM SELF ALL THE TIME. MY HUSBAND SUPRISED ME THE DAY BEFORE EASTER HE HAD BROUGHT HOME TWO FEMALE RAT TERRIERS FOR ME TO CHOOSE FROM, I SUPRISED HIM BY KEEPING BOTH, THELMA AND LOUISE, THELMA THE RUNT AND LOUISE THE LAST BORN, WERE THE ONLY TWO LEFT FRIM THE LITTER, COULD NOT SPLIT THEM UP. I WENT TO WORK ON EASTER AND BEHIND THE SERVICE DESK WAS A RETURN THAT CAME IN THE NIGHT BEFORE FROM AN ONLINE PURCHASE, NO ONE HAD PUT IT OUT ON THE FLOOR BECAUSE WE DON'T CARRY THIS ITEM IN OUR STORE. I PURCHASED IT ON THE SPOT, GOT HOME 5 MINUTES IT WAS UP AND WORKING LIKE A CHARM. THAT DAY I WENT ON LINE AND MADE MY FIRST ONLINE PURCHASE FROM WALMART, BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE FOR THE OTHER ENTRANCE OUT OF OUR DINNING ROOM. SO THE GIRLS HAVE A BIG ROOM TO PLAY WHEN IT'S NASTY OUT SIDE, AND I DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE CHEWING UP AND SWALLOWING OR ESCAPING THRU THE GATE INTO AREAS THAT ARE NOT THERE SPACE.

I had purchased this gate to replace the one my 1yr old would climb up because of the lattice type design. I first purchased an evenflo that said to be easy open, but it was not. So I decided to try this Regalo Easy Open and see if it was or not easy open. Its great!! We dont even lock it all the way because it has a close feature that closes without locking. I can easily open this with one hand (even when it is locked. The kids do manage to knock it down every once in a while but its so easy to put back up. ( I bought this gate to fit a 39" opening). Cons: opening could be a tad bigger, I would not reccommend this for a larger person (being pregnant i have to watch my belly. LOL), and only opens oneway, which is not terrible

I am a mom of two very active boys .. I bought this gate to keep my kids out of kitchen a crawler and a toddler.. it works perfect .. i Love the gate for 3 reasons 1.my toddler keeps shaking it (we didn't screw it on de wall) but holds up well .. 2.kids can not climb on the gate .. my lil guy is 2yrs old and tried a lot but no success 3.good quality metal gate which LL definitely last long for all de wear and tear Cons 1. U will have measurements issues .. it might not fit perfectly.. ours dint fit we're v wanted

I love this gate got it to keep my 80lb half lab, half pit baby in my bedroom when someone comes, it was a little hard to put up at first but didn't need the extention and then when I got it up and bam it held her in and she can't get through it unless I let her out the door way it is easy for her to step over once I open the swing door I love it and would highly recommend it for pets and small children, just watch the bottom rail if you have it high like I do..

I bought this product to replace the gate on our wooden fence outside that is too heavy to replace. I needed something very easy for going in and out since my sister drops off my niece quite frequently for visits and it was very hard for her to step two feet over the temporary gate I had before. I also needed to keep my dog securely in the back yard. This works perfect...I was looking for something with the durability that would last through snowfall and still open and close fine without rusting. This is great.
