Great choice

It was super easy to install, and the appearance is neat. So far, the gate works wonders on keeping my baby out of the stairs.

Not Sturdy or Safe

Put this gate up at the bottom of our stairs (to keep curious duo from climbing the steps) and my son took it down the first day. We placed it square in the area, secured the rubber anchors on all four corners as tight as they would go and they still bowed when the gate was bumped the least little bit. Plan to return and get a different gate.

    Very Narrow opening

    It has a very narrow opening. I do not find it very easy to open with one hand. Seams cheaply made.

    Great for the money

    This gate is not stable when the extenders are stretched out but in a door frame it works great.

    Good for toddlers, not for 3+
