Item came quickly and was easily assembled by me. Important to read the instructions as the handle will "catch" only when the gate is securely tightened. Wide enough for me, to keep my dog from a hallway. Possibly the gate is not terribly robust, if you had a boisterous labrador for example, but it's great for my 20lb dog. Not tested with baby!

The gate's pass through works exactly as I was hoping. It's easily opened one handed. The gate itself is very sturdy. It's simple to set it up and very easy to use. I'm very happy with this product. If I decide I need a second gate, I will definitely get this one again.

Love the gate. It is very safe. Extra optional twist latches at the bottom of the gate to keep it secure if u have it at the top of the stairs. 4 stars only because the gate opening to walk through is pretty marrow and it is challenging walking through with something as common as a laundry basket in your hand. Overall I love it though.

the tac welding is as cheap as you can possibly get. the bars are not fully welded. each bar has one spot weld on each end of the bar. mine broke in less than a week. instead of the hassle of returning it. i just used hot glue and applied as much as needed to the bar that disconnected. problem solved.

We had used several different baby gates (wooden, plastic and etc), before finally settled on this one! Great construction, simple installation, convenient, easy to use and keep baby safe and away from places you don't want them to enter! Would definitely recommend to any family!

So we bought three(2 for us 1 for my parents) of these gates they came with the 6'' extension. We live in an apartment on first floor and my parents live on the 3rd floor. so the cups that you can screw in as an extra saftey measure are a must even tho the ones in our apartment dont lead to stairs i still put them in as a piece of mind. Dont get me wrong they dont need it, but its nice that you can if you want. I really liked the fact that other than the bottom part there is no place for the baby to pinch their fingers. Very solid gate easy to use/open for us and not for baby. Its such a nice change from the gates you have to step over im 6 1/2 months pregnant so stepping over or even bending while holding my 17month old to move the gate was a pain i can open this gate with one hand(with a little practice). Thanks walmart.

This gate is for my day care to keep the kids out of the kitchen. It is easy to install and uninstall as I will put in up and down every day for day care. Th older kids can easily learn how to open the gate while the younger kids still cannot figure it out. The only problem we have is we keep tripping on the small lip that goes across the bottom. We are going to try painting the bottom strip a bright color so we might not trip as often.

I love this product. Very easy to assemble. I wish I invested in this product months ago. All I can say is that you will not be disappointed if you are looking for a sturdier baby gate. My husband and I are using our gates to keep our dogs out of the bedrooms at home.

I purchased several of these gates. For the record, when I read reviews I am VERY skeptical as to their validity. Therefore I will tell you I am in North Grafton, MA 01536. Just a hint that I am real. In any event, I made purchase of several of these gates. They were easy to install and I especially love the locking mechanism on the top of the gate. It's great! It requires you to slide back small "catch" so that you can then open the handle. Great safety feature!

Good gate.. easy to set up and also to unlock and open for parents. Unfortunately my 11 month old son learned how to unlock it, despite our efforts to hide it from him. Now, we are trying to figure out a way to keep him from opening the latch and going through it.. I'd give it 5 starsb8f it wasn't so easy for a baby to learn to open it.
