the tac welding is as cheap as you can possibly get. the bars are not fully welded. each bar has one spot weld on each end of the bar. mine broke in less than a week. instead of the hassle of returning it. i just used hot glue and applied as much as needed to the bar that disconnected. problem solved.

We have four of these gates in our home. They are study pressure mounted gates, the lock is secure, they can swing both ways but you can set it to make sure they only open one side and they hold tight, my curious one year old uses them to help stand up and leans back while holding them, I have no consents about the gates wavering. I like that I didn’t need to drill holes in my walls for them. I also like that they are aesthetically pleasing in our home

This gate was extremely easy to put up (I actually purchased two). I use it to keep my small dogs confined as needed and so far have no issues. The lock is a bit tedious to open when pushed into the locking position, so I only push it all the way down if I'm leaving the house. I've just been pushing it down without clicking it and it can just be lifted up and down when moving room to room. I purchased another gate that was too small to fit my doorways and it was more expensive and difficult to install. I think this is great for the price and it's not junky looking either.

I like this gate, but we have a little 2 pound puppy that can slip right thru the bars. I'm hoping in a couple of weeks she will be a little bigger and the problem will be solved, but right now I am back to blocking off the gate and the doorway with the cardboard that the gate came in. The gate is very sturdy and easy to open to walk thru and will be great when my puppy gets a little bigger.

Our dog tends to pee on the floor if he goes to our rooms, so we got this baby gate to keep him out of that area. The gate installed great with an electric drill and some accessories, and it’s a breeze to open and close (even if it’s a thousand times a day). It’s very light, but very strong. Plus I love not breaking my toe over a plywood barrier anymore!! I’d highly recommend this product.

I bought this gate with the hopes of keeping my dog out of another room, however my 9 pound dog was able to squeeze through the space between the bars. Installation was very easy and it worked really well. I would recommend this gate to anyone other than someone who is trying to contain a small dog.

very easy set up, has an extension if needed to extend for a little larger door, you can keep it in the doorway for short periods of time or you can permanently mount it to the door frame, either way they give you all the tools you need to get it done

Excellent gate. Got a plastic one before this one and it was just garbage. My daughter would just make it fall with her walker. The best thing is that the price of this gate for the material its made of is sold very very cheap. So I would just recommend going for metal gates,especially this one.

Having a 2.5 pound chihuahua and trying to potty train was a challenge with the old gate, we had to either step over it or take it down every time we wanted to go into the room where the puppy stays when not supervised. Now, with just a lift of a latch, wallah, gate swings open and closes easily, no more messing around to get into that room. Great gate, very durable, inexpensive when it comes to these types of gates. Makes our lives much easier!

It's a very nice gate and what we needed. I do wish the stoppers on the end that pushes against the wall were a little tougher. On my paint on the siding it makes the gate slide a little if too much weight is leaned on the gate. Overall it's a good sturdy gate.
