Great baby gate, I bought this gate for my stairway to prevent my one year old from climbing up the stairs and it does the job. However I must say, the gate is not wide enough if you are a big person or someone who has wide hips, just wanted to throw that out there.

I found that I needed something for my little to stay out the kitchen. and after trying several different gates i came across this one and have not regretted buying it at all.The gate was very easy to install and I have found it to be extremely sturdy. I would recommend this to any parent and well worth the money

I love this gate. It took me all of 5 minutes to put it up. It comes all attached so there is very little work or instructions. The locking latch is simple but will not shut properly if you over tighten the gate to the walls. The gate is so sturdy that my 2 1/2 grand daughter can shake it and kick it and it still stays in the same position without any wiggle room. I have owned 3 different kinds of gates and this one BY FAR has been the easiest to install, easiest to open and best for the money. I highly recommend this gate, you will not be sorry!

We were using a wooden removable gate for our dog which was a pain, because it kept falling down all the time. Our son has one of these gates to confine his 2 dogs. It works so well for them, he suggested we get one for ours. It is so great & easy, I wish I had purchased 1 years ago.

Easy to install, sturdy and looks tidy. I used the included 6 inch extender to fit wall to wall at the bottom of the stairs. I also screwed the plastic holder cups to the drywall to ensure the best holding, as recommended. If using on a wooden door frame, I don’t think there would be any need for screws. Excellent value.

We've been using our gate in a hallway for about 3 weeks, and are very pleased by the ease of use of this product. We purchased it to confine a precocious pup who is not yet fully housetrained from entering our bedrooms, and so far, so good. We had previously purchased Regalo's more expansive gate for a large area, but the latch on that one is cumbersome, and the slats are wide enough for a small dog to squeeze through. This gate's latch is a convenient "one hand" system - great if you're arms are somewhat full. Our clever dog has not been able to squeeze through, much to her dismay! Only wish our larger gate was as well-made, since we use it several times a day.

I bought another gate and my daughter learned fast how to open it. This one is easy to open yet my very intelligent 3 year old can't figure it out, which is great because its meant to keep her away from dangerous basement stairs and a scary open platform in our laundry room! I love that it swings both ways and it was really easy to install!

bought this to keep my dogs contained in one room and it works great . They chewed up the other plastic one and this one is metal so not able to chew this one. Also love that i can open and walk thru and not have to climb over the other like the other kind we had... I went ahead and ordered one for my grandmother and her dogs.....

THE INSTALLATION WAS SO QUICK AND THE FIT WAS PERFECT FOR THE NOT SO PERFECT OPENING THAT IT WAS USED IN. I AM SLIGHTLY HANDICAPPED AND I NEED A GATE IN MY BATHROOM TO KEEP MY LITTLE DOG OUT OF THE SHOWER WHEN THE WATER IS RUNNING AND THE GATE KEEPS HIM OUT TILL I TURN OFF THE WATER AND LET HIM STEP IN WITH ME. IT ALSO IS VERY ATTRACTIVE AND DOES NOT LOOK BAD IN MY SHOWER DOORWAY. IT ALSO GIVES ME ALITTLE MORE SECURITY IN MY SHOWER FOR ME TO HOLD ON TO THE GATE AS I STEP OUT ONTO THE BATH RUG. THIS IS A GREAT ITEM FOR ANY DOORWAY IN YOUR HOME.

We have four of these gates in our home. They are study pressure mounted gates, the lock is secure, they can swing both ways but you can set it to make sure they only open one side and they hold tight, my curious one year old uses them to help stand up and leans back while holding them, I have no consents about the gates wavering. I like that I didn’t need to drill holes in my walls for them. I also like that they are aesthetically pleasing in our home
