Put this gate up at the bottom of our stairs (to keep curious duo from climbing the steps) and my son took it down the first day. We placed it square in the area, secured the rubber anchors on all four corners as tight as they would go and they still bowed when the gate was bumped the least little bit. Plan to return and get a different gate.

I purchased this baby gate for the upstairs hallway of my house. It is very easy to put together. We did have to use the extender piece which just slides right into place. The gate is taller and the latch is easy to use for my older children. The red lock piece slides back and The door latch pulls up. It is by far the least tricky latch of the all gates that we have used. It is also very sturdy because it is one solid piece. I am considering buying another to replace an older gate that I have downstairs.

I like this gate, but we have a little 2 pound puppy that can slip right thru the bars. I'm hoping in a couple of weeks she will be a little bigger and the problem will be solved, but right now I am back to blocking off the gate and the doorway with the cardboard that the gate came in. The gate is very sturdy and easy to open to walk thru and will be great when my puppy gets a little bigger.

Having a 2.5 pound chihuahua and trying to potty train was a challenge with the old gate, we had to either step over it or take it down every time we wanted to go into the room where the puppy stays when not supervised. Now, with just a lift of a latch, wallah, gate swings open and closes easily, no more messing around to get into that room. Great gate, very durable, inexpensive when it comes to these types of gates. Makes our lives much easier!

I would definitely recommend this item to a friend. It is at the bottom of our stair and keeps our 8 month old off of the stairs. If we were to put it at the top of the stairs then we would definitely have to use the screws to screw it in the wall bc it is a little unsteady at the top of the gate. Easy open and close latch and easy to assemble and put up. Price was average, I suppose. Ive seen very expensive ones and cheaper ones but this was worth the 40 I spent on it.

great product easy to install, having the door is awesome. Using it for my Scottish Terrier and it works fine for his size, will not work with small breeds. Tried to purchase on Ebay and Amazon...when shipping added This is by far the best price found! Picking up at local store--was faster than shipping to my home...highly recommend this purchase.

The gate is great once installed. It allows easy passage and the space between is nice and small to keep my 10 lb dog contained. The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to install by yourself. I understand it is made to be flexible in width but that is what makes it difficult to hold together while installing. Also you have to screw the grips for a long time to get it tight enough for the gate to be able to close.

the tac welding is as cheap as you can possibly get. the bars are not fully welded. each bar has one spot weld on each end of the bar. mine broke in less than a week. instead of the hassle of returning it. i just used hot glue and applied as much as needed to the bar that disconnected. problem solved.

Love my little dachunds but sometimes they don't need full run of the house. This gate is easy to operate and contains them to one one. Great product and a great price. My husband did have to modify just a bit because the width with the extension was not an exact fit but that was ok because he is good with tools.
