I have 2 dogs, one a Yorkie who is very small, the other about 20 lbs. This gate is wonderful for containing them. It was easy to install by myself, and works great! The dogs can see me and get air through the gate, but they haven't been able to push it down or go through it. I wish I had gotten this gate a long time ago. I now have two of them and I would recommend them to anyone who needs to contain a pet. I use them in my open kitchen so they are contained to only half of the kitchen which makes it easy for me to get into the fridge and get to the sink without going through the gate, even thought the gate is very easy to open.

Bought this for the keeping the dog(beagle) out of an area and it not only works well but is easy to use and use it several times daily. This is over a period of several weeks. I had a little trouble getting it put up until I remembered to put the caps on, but that was my fault-not the product's. The only other problem I had when I got it up was also my fault-I had to remember to step over the base piece, but once I did I was very pleased with the sturdiness.

I love this gate ! I had beed banging my head against a wall trying to find the best solution to keeping my dogs in the back yard. The problem was the garage walk through door. Part of the garage is always open for the cars to get parked. But the other doorway is a pass through door between garage and back yard. That door didn't stay closed. I can't afford a electrical gate so low an behold I found this great metal latch gate. Its working amazingly and has been through several severe wind warnings.

I researched and read reviews for different types of pressure gates that would be good on the stairs. We have an 18 month old and another on the way and I do not want them on or anywhere near the stairs in our house. We also have a dog what I would like upstairs with us at night and not running all over the house waking the baby up. So after researching I thought this was the best deal. The construction of the gate was very easy to understand but the instructions made it more confusing. Once assembled, it didn't really provide the stability I was looking for. My son came over and one yank it was off. I definitely will pay a little more money now for something more stable. If you are looking for something for less active children and pets this would be good but not for active children at all!

This gate needs 2 hands to operate. It may be fine as a puppy gate but it is terrible to navigate with a sleeping baby.

This is a very nice gate, but I would not recommend it for anyone who has a chihauhau that weighs 6 lbs or less. I had to return it to the store because my dog walked right thru it. But I didn't have any problems returning it.

Needed a temporary gate for a visiting child. This gate is easy to position and can stay in place while a part swings open for adults. Only complaint is that the part that swings should be wider.

we needed something to keep the little dog out of the hallway but let the cats in. gate is a bit tall but the cats can jump it. Son is able to open it on this own !!!

Easy install , sturdy , easy open , comes with extention for wider openings, comes with everything to install. You just need a screw driver. Purchased to keep dogs contained not a child so its doing the thing. Looks nice

This is a great gate but it's a little hard to get in and out with a baby or groceries in my arms. I have small hands so I need 2 hands to open it. Other than this it's a great gate beciase it keeps the baby in and the dogs out.
