I bought this gate with the hopes of keeping my dog out of another room, however my 9 pound dog was able to squeeze through the space between the bars. Installation was very easy and it worked really well. I would recommend this gate to anyone other than someone who is trying to contain a small dog.

We have 2 of these to keep our dog confined. They work great and allow us to move through the doorway without removing the gate. FYI - if your dog is aggressive in trying to knock the gate down make sure you install the permanent cups that hold it in place.

We just purchased this gate to use as a pet gate to keep a puppy away from the carpet during training. It has easy to read instructions and easy assembly as well as installation. We wanted a gate that was easy open as we have grandkids that would have trouble opening some gates but the latch does lock if we would need it too. So far we would recommend this gate.

My child won't get his fingers pinched in this like you can in the cheap models. Love that it stays in place and I can swing it open to walk through. Bought a second one for the other doorway after using first one for a month. Both still holding up. Fits our standard doorways but comes with an extension. Would fit a narrower doorway as well.

It needs to be screwed into the wall, the pressure mount is great but can not hold up to a walking kiddo who wants to get passed it. It was easy to install the plates though to screw it in place. The only thing I don't like is that it's not easy to open, you almost need two hands-not an easy task if babe is all ready in your arms,

well, it fulfill our requirements. light weight, ok price, proper height for stairs, easy installation. only thing is it's little hard to open it with one hand while holding baby. but we buy it for our 2 year old daughter. so in one way it's good that she cann't open it. it's not waste of money.

bought this to keep my dogs contained in one room and it works great . They chewed up the other plastic one and this one is metal so not able to chew this one. Also love that i can open and walk thru and not have to climb over the other like the other kind we had... I went ahead and ordered one for my grandmother and her dogs.....

This gate was extremely easy to put up (I actually purchased two). I use it to keep my small dogs confined as needed and so far have no issues. The lock is a bit tedious to open when pushed into the locking position, so I only push it all the way down if I'm leaving the house. I've just been pushing it down without clicking it and it can just be lifted up and down when moving room to room. I purchased another gate that was too small to fit my doorways and it was more expensive and difficult to install. I think this is great for the price and it's not junky looking either.

I purchased this gate to keep dogs out of bathroom where I keep the kitty litter. I love it. There was some concern by other people who had little dogs about spacing of bars. I don't think that will be a problem, I have yorkies, jack Russell & mini dachshund. I love the looks of gate and the ease of using it and putting it on was a snap. I would highly recommend it.

With the extension, the gate was too wide for the opening: Without it, the adjustments were set almost to the max, so I got out a hacksaw and whacked an inch or so off. Now, it fits perfectly with the extension. It withstood the attacks of a 16 month old toddler trying to get out, and the best efforts of two 40 plus pounds Brittany Spaniels to get in, yet allowed two harried cats to escape either in or out.
