Ingredients not match SmartLabel webpage

The ingredients on the bottle do not match the ingredients online at the SmartLabel webpage. Notably, the bottle does Not contain Borax (Sodium Borate) and the bottle does contain the addition of sodium lauryl sulfate. I feel as though these are important ingredients that should be correctly listed. There are a few other ingredients that do not match up as well. Overall I'm disappointed with the cleaning power of this detergent. My kids are hard on their clothes. Food and dirt stains abound. This detergent very rarely gets all of the food stains out of my kids clothes.

It's disappointing to hear this because Tide is designed to provide exceptional cleaning and whitening. Some tips to get the best results with your Tide detergent are: be sure to not overload the washer, and to use the recommended amount of detergent for average water hardness, a little more in very hard water, a little less in very soft water. Also sort clothes by color and fabrics so that you can use the hottest water that is safe for the fabrics, and use the correct was cycle for the types of fabrics you are washing together. If you notice stains before washing, try pre-treating them.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does it get my laundry clean but it smells so good too. Makes your clothes so soft. With its gentle formula you dont have to worry about it breaking you out if you have sensitive skin either

Great if you want to stink!

If you are looking for a detergent that will just keep that stink from before you washed it this is the one. It even makes any scents from sweat more noticeable. Horrible Horrible Horrible product. I didnt realize it was this until i had changed soaps, deodorants, shampoos, even bought new clothes, then changed detergents when i realized what was causing it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT.!!!!

Smells awful

I thought that it was just not getting my clothes clean for some reason, but after reading other reviews here, it appears that the problem is that the product just smells. My exercise clothes smell like they have not been washed at all. Wish I could return the three large bottles of this I bought on sale.

Ensuring your fabrics get clean and smell fresh is one of our top priorities, so we're very sorry to hear about this. When using the right amount of detergent for your load size, this isn't what we would expect. We'd like to connect about this, and tell you more about our Tide Clean Boost Fabric Rinse as it removes 3X odor and residue vs. detergent alone. Please call us at (800) 879-8433.

Powder

I continue to not forgive you for removing tide free and gentle powder. I have been a loyal loyal user of Tide for years and know for a fact that my children and friends use it because of me. I tried the free and gentle pods - never again - giant plastic bottles or containers and I have to use your prescribed volume of product. I really hate that part And it does not clean as well. I have the liquid. Again giant ridiculous plastic bottles. The jury is out on whether I will continue to use. I am trying the Tide bleach powder today which is the reason I am writing. It stinks. The smell is pervasive and stupidly pervasive. There is nothing environmentally good about that and it really smells awful. Why anyone in the world would ever want to go around smelling like laundry detergent is beyond me. And now my hose smells like it. I am throwing it away. Good grief be better.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We know how sad it can be when the Tide we love is no longer available. Gentle on my clothes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Peace of mind to know this product is gentle on my clothes and is free of dyes and perfumes. I'm giving it 4 stars since I'm not sure this product makes a difference for me. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so I could use regular detergents.

Doesn’t make me itch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin that is prone to dermatitis and reacts to laundry detergents. This has not caused any negative reactions or allergies from my skin. The formula is clear which I like better than the blue colored formulas of other detergents

Tide Tradition

Tide was the detergent used when I was growing up, and up until recently was the detergent of choice in my home. But since I have been using 2X, my water bill has gone up considerably, and I believe it is due to all the rinses I have to put my clothes through to get the soap out. Although I love Tide, I probably won't be using it as long as it is concentrated. I can't afford to pay more for the detergent and the additional water bill also!

Tide Free and Gentle

I have used Tide my entire life. In the last few years I've been unable to use many products due to migraines. I was very sad when I learned that both Bounce - fragrance free and Tide Free and Gentle now give me migraines. Tide Free didn't have this effect, but I'm unable to find it anymore. Is Tide Free and Gentle the same formulation as Tide Free? Did IT change? Or did I change? Same question for Bounce. I've used it longer than I can remember, but can no longer use it. Is it different? I can use other Free and Clear, but they give my clothes an odor. Tide clothes always feel cleaner and fresher to me. My mom complained of her washer not working. When I gave her Tide Free she realized it's not the washer, but rather the "free and clear" detergents that she used... Free and Clear detergents are NOT all equal.

The clean you need that’s gentle on your skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love scents but when it comes to laundry I tend to become more neutral…I love that I can clean my clothes with a quality product like tide while being able to keep it gentle on my kids skin and even my own. It leaves my my laundry soft that I don’t mind wrapping myself in just a blanket when clothes need washing HA! This is the detergent you need with zero worries of allergies with the freshness and cleanliness your laundry and YOU deserve!
