Free and gentle liquid laundry detergent by tide Is my go to detergent for laundry for my entire family . It takes off tough stains from my kids clothes and has a soft not strong and sweet like other detergents that causes my kids skin to break out. The bottle is a decent price and tons of loads done from one bloodletting.

I opened a new container of the Tide Free and Gentle but the detergent was a brown color and also had a weird chemical smell to it. I shook the bottle to see if the color would change but it did not and I am afraid to wash my clothes with it. I have NEVER had this to happen in all the years I have been washing clothes. Would not recommend this product.

I’ve used a variety of free and clear detergent brands, decided to try tides version and my toddler had a severe allergic reaction all over her body and face. I see many people reviewing with allergic reactions so clearly this detergent is Not gentle!!

I love this detergent for my Children's clothes. I use the Tide Pods for mine and my husbands clothes and HIGHLY wish that you guys would make the PODS in the Free & Gentle version. Would make laundry duty a little easier. But I love TIDE products. Don't use anything else!

Did the formula change? I have been using this for years, as the only detergent without synthetic dyes, SLS or sulfates, and without whatever is in HE detergents that makes me get hives. Now, every time I put on newly washed clothes, I am itching like crazy all over my body. I even went as far as to buy 3 new sets of clothes to try without washing, and I was fine.

I have been using the Tide detergent for over 35 years and I know that I can"t use any other brand. Tide doesn't damage the color of the garments. I love it because it is perfume free. Unlike other brands Tide doesn't make me itch. I thought that it was a great idea when Tide/ Downy emerge together it make my job alot easier, I don't have to monitor the washing machine.

For years I had to use Ivory Soap because of allergies to perfumes/fragrances and dyes. It was not my favorite as far as cleaning. When Tide came out with fragrance and dye free I was elated and immediately started using it. At times, when other brands came out with fragrance and dye free, I tried them. I always came back to Tide Free because it does the best job. Living on a fixed income, I have to cut corners, but I stick to Tide even though it costs more then some brands. I love it.

This produce is great. It takes out stains, cleans my clothes wonderfully, and gives you confidence to know you are getting your money worth. Tide is not a water down product. I love Tide Free most of all; cause it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.

I was forced to buy the new Tide Free and Gentle because the other regular Tide Free was not on the shelf and unwilling to switch brands I tried it. I first was dissapointed in the positioning - with 3 kids I am not looking for a gentle cleaner (makes me think of Dreft). I experienced my washer smelling very poorly - like wet old clothes that have sat for awhile. More than that I just do not want a gentle clean, I want the regular duty Tide Free. I have now actually switched brands to 7th Generation. I will come back if you bring back the old Tide Free. Or tell me where I can find it. Thx.

Although I am a life long Tide user, I purchased this product because it was the only He detergent the store had at the time. Although it cleans the clothes it leaves them with that not clean smell. It reminds me of how clothes smell after they have been wet and left in a pile to dry. I highly discourage purchassing this product unless you absolutely have to.
