I was already a Free & Gentle Pod fan, and this liquid detergent is just as fantastic and easy to use! This is a strong 10/10 recommended product that fulfills all of your laundry detergent needs! I have sensitive skin that reacts to some laundry products. Once I realized my clothes were making me itchy, I switched to the Free & Gentle line and never looked back. Like the pods, I never felt itchy from this detergent. My clothes smell clean and nice even though this detergent is unscented. My pets are extremely sensitive to scents and get itchy from products too, but this didn’t irritate them in any way. This detergent is also very easy to pour and doesn’t make a mess.

No harmful chemicals or fragrances that affect skin. No residue left on clothes. No weird smells, even though these clean detergents are fragrance free, some have weird smells… this does not!

But, Tide makes an ever better product with Tide Free and Clear Odor Refresh. It only costs a tad more, so I would opt for that. However, at the end of the day, you still get the great cleaning power of tide without all the dyes and perfumes with Free and Gentle.

Since he suffers from eczema, I try to be mindful of the chemicals I use for his clothing. Not only did the detergent effectively clean his work clothes, but it also didn't irritate his skin. It's a win/win! There's no scent to this detergent, which is a common complaint from him. His work uniform is not the most comfortable material, and the detergent makes it feel soft and fresh, even in cold water. I appreciate the concentrated formula because why would I pay for watered-down detergent? All in all, Tide Free & Gentle liquid detergent is a top-performing, reliable, gentle, yet effective product for my husband's skin and scent sensitivities.

Clothes and bedding smell very clean. Gets clothes clean even in cold water. It does not have a bad smell. Great Product that removes stains and it dissolves great.

I have eczema, sensitive skin, and require an effective detergent for my workout and camping clothes. This product worked well for my needs. It made me feel better to use a product that made me feel like it had less chemicals. It did a good job cleaning my clothes, didn’t leave any weird residue on my clothes post wash or make my skin feel irritated. This bottle was a convenient smaller size, that would work for multiple loads, and is easy to carry. This would be a perfect size for someone who has to walk to a laundry facility.
