Gentle detergent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the free and gentle laundry detergent for my whole family. My daughter has severe eczema and cannot use fragrant detergents. Laundry comes out clean but no fresh linen smell.

Great laundry detergent!

The product that works best for us!

We have used Tide Free and Gentle since my husband and I have sensitive skin issues. We have not had any skin irritation problems using this product and it cleans our clothes very well. Great product!

Changed formula

Product has been changed. No indication on bottle. It is now yellow and thicker. Causing contact dermatitis, red bumps everywhere. We have used it and loved it for over ten years. No more.

We're so very sorry to read you've been having this problem, as our Safety Team assures us that every bottle of Tide Free & Gentle is safe when used as directed. What you've described isn't what we expect, as we've not changed the formula of our Free & Gentle liquid since October 2022. At that time, the liquid was made clearer and lighter in color; there was no ingredient change, but a change in how we make the detergent was implemented. We hope you'll put your current bottle off to the side, where it'll be safe from being tossed out or used, and call us so we can help you feel better as soon as possible. Our number is 1 (800) 879-8433 and we're phone-side daily, starting at 9 AM and on the weekdays, until 6 PM, EST. On the weekends, we turn off the phones at 5:30 PM, EST.

No irritants!

Used for 6 years

I have used this for 6 years, I did t realize the changes made and now I have constant contact dermatitis, itching and hives. This is horrible and I am so upset.

Great for Eczema!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detergent works great. I have a child with sensitive skin and allergic to fragrances, this detergent leaves him with no skin reaction. It has no scent to me, but clean clothes fantastic.

No rashes! We are

No rashes! We are a sensitive bunch and this works wonders for us. No psoriasis or eczema flare ups. I wish it had an odor but I guess that's the price you pay to be comfortable in your own skin. It also cleans really well, just like regular Tide.

Bring Back Lilac scented Pure Essentials

The only scented laundry detergent for which I have ever had any brand loyalty was Pure Essentials with baking soda - white lilac scented. It worked on my toxic work-out clothes and I liked the scent. Why is there no equivalent or substitute?

How it leaves the clothes smelling and looking clean

Cleans clothes very well 😁. I would like to try more detergent. I love a fresh smelling scent. It's safe for babies and pet bedding. Love the way the detergent is provided. Doesn't cost too much to afford.
