Works great

Very good vacuum in terms of power, ease of use,and picking up hair from carpet etc. Terrible battery life. 40-60 minutes to charge to full, but the longest I've had the battery last is nine minutes on the lowest setting. You won't be able to vacuum even a small house in one day because it would need 5 or 6 charges.

I have this product. I was lucky enough to get it on sale. It's very easy to assemble. The attachments are not difficult to put on and it really picks up the dirt well. It's a strong vacuum at a great price. I also love that there was some color to the product and not just some gray boring machine. Mine has a little piece of orange on top. Very easy to maintain as long as you empty the dirt collector every time you use it, you shouldn't have any problems.

Excellent product

I love how lightweight and powerful the Shark Rocket Dirt Engage stick vacuum is. It's easy to grab for quick cleanups, yet strong enough to handle pet hair and everyday messes. The swivel steering makes it glide smoothly around furniture, and the suction really lifts dirt from both carpet and hard floors. The dust cup is a bit small, but it's a fair trade for how easy it is to carry and store. Perfect for keeping my home clean without the heavy hassle.

I have used this vacuum on hardwood floors and carpet. On hardwood it leaves dirt behind, even moving slowly. On carpet it does ok but long hair (pet & human) is a challenge. I killed the battery out of the box, by using it, so it would get a full charge. Once fully charged, I unplugged it. Then used it on both surfaces and didn't put it on the charger again, as it had a charge left. Went to use it a few days later, for a 3rd time, it last a whole 5 minutes! Definitely not a good vacuum if 1- It doesn't work as it is intended - no suction to pick up dirt and hair. 2- The battery doesn't hold its charge for a few days and must remain plugged in at all times. My canister vacuum has more suction. Going to return this and stick to the cumbersome canister vacuum.

I've had this vacuum since February. I waited to review it until I had used it for a while. It is lightweight and the suction is good. The battery doesn't last long if you are holding down the trigger to increase the suction but without that I'm able to vacuum a few rooms, however I do live in a single wide trailer so others experiences may differ. The reason it only got 4 stars though is because I have two large dogs that shed a lot. I frequently have to take apart the roller and clean dog hair out of the entry way so the vacuum will pick up correctly. It doesn't get caught in the roller itself but behind it taps everything easily. This vacuum is not meant to pick up large dirt items so if you want something that will pick up larger items this vacuum is not it. I have "hard wood" floors and the vacuum goes across then easily. The suction is strong enough to pick up small area rugs if you got the corner. I like this vacuum overall.

I purchased this vacuum for the high reviews as i have some long hair pets, i spend more time unclogging it then i do vacuuming. It takes 3-4 passes to pick anything up. I hate it. I splurged and bought this for myself and ended up turning around a month later and buying a ryobi vacuum instead. It is true that hair doesnt get caught on the roller but it does build up on the brush in the front constantly so if you dont stop to clean it you wont collect anything.
