[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went with the Samsung top loading washer with Smart Features and Auto Dispense, and the matching front loading dryer. This set has been easy to learn to use and there are so many features that this is easily the best purchase we have made in awhile. We love the Auto Dispense, which gives the benefit of adding detergent and softener and letting the machine auto dispense it for each load. The inside of the washer is shiny and has a large capacity, and it is easy to do large loads. The SmartThings app enables us to use recipes for different types of loads and even alerts us when the washer and dryer cycles are done. I would hands down recommend this washer and dryer set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung 5.5 works amazing for king sized comforters. I appreciate the auto detergent and softener dispense systems. There are various settings that I've used including super speed and deep fill. I use the SmartThings app which lets me know when the wash is done. It is quiet and powerful with a soft close lid. I am 5'7" and have no issues pulling out laundry to put in dryer, however, someone smaller may not be able to reach the bottom of the tub.

So far, my favorite is being able to use the SmartThings app to monitor the washer, and the Auto Dispenser System for the detergent and fabric softener. The Vibration Reduction Technology really makes a big difference with regards to noise - I can barely tell when the washer is running. This is the first top loading washer I have owned in a long time, and it has a very large capacity, large enough to wash several blankets in one load - and get them all very clean. I love the interior of the washer, it is so shiny and spacious. There are so many different settings to use for different loads, and the speed with which this washer finishes is amazing. I would highly recommend purchasing this washer along with the matching dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was our first time using a washer that was high-efficiency, so at first, we were taken aback by the seemingly low amount of water used during the cycle. However, we found out that it uses an optimal amount for its cleaning process to be efficient, and it saves on water usage as well. And if we need more, it has additional options to use more water. Everything we have put in it so far has come out cleaner than any washer we've had before, and having it hooked up to the rest of our SmartThings ecosystem has been working flawlessly. Just work on adding a shorter version of that completion song, please :) We are super happy with this new washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't think it would be possible, but here we are... I found a new best friend.. that's an appliance LOL. Before you scroll past this, thinking I'm crazy.. hear me out. We went from a standard washer, to this.. and WOW. The drum is insanely big and the stainless steel is always clean and just looks beautiful. We have been able to fit some pretty large washing loads with no effort and they come out beautifully clean. Also the biggest scare that I had with a top loading machine was damaging the cover from all of the opening and closing and the occasional slamming of it (we've all been there..!) Well not with this one, it has soft closing lid.. it's amazing! We love the auto-sensing detergent dispense, not only does it save time but also the detergent itself which means you're saving money - gotta love that. You can override the auto-dispense if you'd like more detergent, for whatever reason. Also it has auto load sensing so that it auto fills the water to an adequate amount BUT you can also do a forced full tub if you'd like your clothes covered to the brim in water, we do. There are a lot of functions to the washer, and they can be tweaked through the app, as well. Speaking of the app, it gives you everything you'd want at your fingertips and also allows you create a custom wash cycle, we love it. One call out, is that the app crashes quite a bit for me. My husband doesn't have this problem, but I do, consistently. Maybe it's user error, or maybe its due to me being the primary user? Not sure/ We are looking forward to having this washer for quite a while and are quite happy to hear there's a 20-year motor warranty with it. Overall, highly recommended. Enjoy!

Just bought this washer and I am still on the fence with it. I put in a medium size load on quick wash. Being the first wash in it, of course I watched the whole cycle through the glass top. Maybe I shouldn't have, but for the price I wanted to see how and how well it worked without a central agitator column. My first complaint was that the water level never reached the top of my clothes. After a few minutes of it washing, the tops of my clothes were still dry. So...I paused the cycle and added more water by using the "deep fill" setting until my clothes were submerged. Maybe I don't fully understand washers in this day and age, but if clothes are dry they aren't being cleaned. While it was washing I noted that there was not much "agitation" and the clothes on top stayed on top and just shimmied around. After it went through the wash cycle and transitioned to rinse, the water poured into the cavity made from the spinning. Not a lot of rinsing if you ask me. It's plenty big, but I am afraid that just means more clothes will be put in and will increase wear on the components. We have pets and I am concerned that it will not remove the dog hairs that pet owners live with. I am going to give a few more tries before I make a decision on keeping.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Delivery took a bit but man was it worth it! We have been nothing short of excited about our new washer. To start of, the fact that it is not just a plain white color it really makes it pop. And with the rose gold dials.. Pretty darn cool. But now let's talk about what everyone is actually here for.. the washer! Let's start saying that we are coming from a front loading washer so we are thrilled that we don't have to bend over to open the door and put the clothes in.. this thing is HUGE. and the tub is super deep, but not so bad that you feel like you may throw your back out just by loading it. The different functions have been quite accurate for our liking (especially the delicate and the deep wash). The fact that it also have an auto sensing detergent dispenser, its a time saving beauty. You don't have to keep reloading it with detergent after every wash, just reload and forget.. forget until the nifty little app gives you a notification that is. The smart things app is paired nicely with this appliance. Not only does it alert you when you are running low of your detergent, but also gives you a heads up when your wash is complete and you can customize a wash to your own personal liking. One down side is that you cannot start the wash remotely, could've been a great win but we are not there yet. We had a big concern with the fact that this was a top loader and we worried that we would bang the door shut every time and eventually damage the washer.. well that concern never existed. It has a soft-close lid so it automatically closes with a very slow and gentle speed that wouldn't hurt a fly (or the washer). We are looking forward to having this washer for quite a while and are quite happy to hear there's a 20-year motor warranty with it. Let the good times roll! (or go swish swash)

The washer does not get clothes clean. It barely moves the clothes around. They literally sit and just barely move. It will have hardly enough water to cover the clothes unless we put it on deep wash every time no matter how many clothes are in there. There is no way to put a comforter or something big in it and it actually wash it. It has plenty of room but terrible at operating. Worst washer I ever had. The dryer takes a long time to dry. It was a very expensive set and I expected much more for my money!! So frustrating
