[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this refrig for a little over a month. Very quiet. Features are good but the door handle design is poor. The handles taper down to nothing where attached to the door so if something gets spilled or even with general cleaning, you cannot get into this small area. Even a paper towel gets stuck there. The handles may be "Sophisticated style and Design" but they are impractical. Not a big thing but if you have kids and clean a lot...it will be annoying.

I went 13 days without a fridge/freezer, because part took extra time to get here. I lost all food in the fridge/freezer. My second LG fridge in a row with a bad compressor. Be advised! I was sent this request to review with a “you could win $500”! My guess is, I won’t win with this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace the generic top-freezer refrigerator that came with my house. I grew up with a bottom freezer and am so glad to have that back. I love the French doors for saving energy. I put my frequently used items in one side and less frequently used on the other. I love the pull-out drawer! It's where I store my prepped lunches for the week. The biggest improvement is the noise. This fridge doesn't wake me up in the middle of the night when the compressor comes on.

Temperature remains consistent. I love the vegetable and fruit bins and the platter bin, which hold meats and cheeses. My first pull-out freezer and love the space and ease of use. Definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had one issue that took a day or so to resolve that being, every 24 hours or so, there was a loud buzzing/hammering sound coming from the bottom of the unit. It only lasted about 5 seconds each time so I couldn’t tell exactly tell where it was coming from. I reviewed the owners manual and online help (never called anyone) but only saw references to the ice maker regarding a noise as I described. Now, I disregarded those references because I ordered a model without an ice maker. Well, I eventually got on my knees, stuck my head in the freezer, looked up, and there was an ice maker “unit” (or part of one) that had an “on/off” switch which was turned ON. I turned off the switch and no more noise. Maybe all units have all or part of the ice maker installed. If so, an additional reference (additional manual note or door sticker) might be in order to avoid the issue for future buyers. Apart from that, I love the refrigerator, great quality and workmanship. Perfect for my application.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We needed standard size capacity in a narrow space and this was perfect! It is very quiet operation (except for the occasional ice dump). Our only negative is that the ice bin is very difficult to remove - it would be much easier if it were only about 1/4" shorter... If you have a smaller kitchen, this is a great option. If you evaluate the weight of appliances you will see that this one is heavier and it is build solidly.

If this one lasts longer I’ll deal with the prints. Fridge is very spacious and ice machine is the best I’ve ever had in any fridge I’ve ever owned! If you don’t have kids or don’t mind wiping the fridge everyday if you do then go for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker in my 17-year-old white refrigerator gave out, so it was time to buy a new one. I opted for a refrigerator with French doors, but without the ice maker and water dispenser on the front door. I'm glad that I did because now I have more shelf space inside the left door. I am still getting used to the best shelf to put my groceries on, but so far, I am very pleased with the design. It is very quiet, makes tons of ice cubes which are easy to reach in the bottom freezer, chimes if the door is left open too long, and seems to keep foods at a perfect temperature. It does show some smudges on the finish, but they are easily cleaned off with glass cleaner or stainless steel cleaner.
