[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big fridge upgrade for me, so it is hard to compare, but so far I am a fan. It keeps ice cream frozen but does not freeze my lettuce! I like the french doors and while I can't open the long drawer with only one door open, there is a great flap on the lid that does make things accessible even with one door open. I think my only minor irritation is that the ice maker drawer does not come out just a little bit more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 5 years ago. The first problem I encountered is that there is no way to remove the shelves to clean them. Poor design. The second problem I encountered is that twice in the last year the refrigerator just stopped cooling for no apparent reason. I called a warranty repair person out. He said that it was working fine now. Which it apparently was-after losing the food in the freezer and most of the food in the refrigerated area. There is apparently some problem in the system that just stops cooling and then after a while (while waiting for a repair tech- which last time I am still waiting for someone to call me back after a week) it begins cooling again. I would not recommend an LG product to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never had a french door refrigerator before. Love that I only need to open one for access. A bonus is the sliding drawer under the vegetable bin. The bottom freezer has 2 large bins and a huge ice cube maker. The only thing lacking is an internal water filter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 weeks ago. Still loving it! The black stainless goes perfect with my other stainless appliances! This is also a perfect size for my limited space. My only critique is when I removed shelving for larger items, there was no place for extra shelf so I had to store it elsewhere. My compressor went out and the fridge and freezer no longer worked. I called LG customer service and they had a repair man call me back in 6 business days. He was polite, quick and on time. He came the very next day and replaced the compressor in a little over an hour and now my fridge is back to cooling and freezing and I'm so happy!

The openness of the interior is almost entirely up to the owner with the various removable shelves. It is well lit, the temperature display is legible and the door ajar alarm is distinct but not annoying. The ease of use is a consistent and reliable feature.

Even though I had a much bigger refrigerator this holds plenty. I just wish the shelves were interchangeable to the other side. I have an extra shelve out in the garage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I had a very nice LG service fellow out. Told me that the newer models are noisy and do vibrate because energy efficient. It is so annoying! I do not recommend if you live in a studio apartment or, as my case, the kitchen wall, where refrigerator sits, is right next to living room wall.. no door and no insulation.

I tell my kids everyday that "I love our refrigerator" I can fit so much in the freezer and the refrigerator. It's amazing, I would recommend this to everyone. It is very quiet and beautiful.
