[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator about 5 years ago. The first problem I encountered is that there is no way to remove the shelves to clean them. Poor design. The second problem I encountered is that twice in the last year the refrigerator just stopped cooling for no apparent reason. I called a warranty repair person out. He said that it was working fine now. Which it apparently was-after losing the food in the freezer and most of the food in the refrigerated area. There is apparently some problem in the system that just stops cooling and then after a while (while waiting for a repair tech- which last time I am still waiting for someone to call me back after a week) it begins cooling again. I would not recommend an LG product to anyone.

Love the fridge and freezer, however at now just under 5 years old it failed us. Would not keep Temperature cool enough. Lost a freezer full of food. LG has failed us in providing a resolution. Almost two weeks later and they leaving us hanging. Will never buy a LG again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the refrigerator a few weeks ago and love the easy access to everything. Having can drinks in the door is wonderful. The freezer drawer is twice the size of my previous fridge and just love the easy reach. Wish we had changed years ago. Absolutely love it!!

My compressor went on my fridge that was 5 yrs old. I called a local repair company that told me it would be over 1,000. Apparently there is a class action lawsuit on the fridge. You would think the company would just give me a new fridge and pay for all my groceries I lost. Plus I bought a personal sized fridge/freezer until my fridge is fixed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for an upgrade with limited space, and this fit the ticket. Temperatures are very consistent and door and shelving storage allows for better organization while keeping everything in clear view.

After years of wanting a French door refrigerator I finally realized at 80 years old if I wanted to enjoy it I needed to buy it now. My problem was the space I had for a refrigerator was small; it had to be no more than 30 inches wide. Also I did not want water/ice available on the door. My new LG fit the bill perfectly. Although it juts out a bit more than my previous refrigerator it is not obtrusive. I especially like the large door containers , easy to group items used together together, like mustard, ketchup, etc. I did have to lower one shelf, but the adjacent shelf has a small lip to prevent items from falling off. The deli drawer is especially handy for lunch meats, cheeses, soda cans. I did not hook up the automatic icemaker; I am just as happy with ice trays. That also gives me a bit more freezer space. The bottom freezer did take a bit of getting used to, but I like it now.

I've only had this refrigerator for a week or so, therefore I can't speak to reliability. However, I love the design and the ease of access to things. We had another refrigerator that was 30 cu ft, and after that one, this refrigerator feels small. However, it's well designed and it makes it easy to store large amounts of groceries.

The stainless steal front looks clean and adds a modern look to our kitchen. We love the fact that if you leave the door(s) open a little alarm sounds. This is a nice feature considering we have a 5 year old who likes to leave every door open. We are very happy with our purchase!
