Purchased over 3 years ago, as it had all the features we were looking for. Beautiful model, but it has been a disappointment. We just went 11 days with no refrigerator, waiting for repairs from a failed compressor. Now waiting 7-14 days for word on our lost food claim. So, she's running and hopefully stays that way.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very happy with this appliance until the compressor prematurely failed on it. We were surprised since the unit was less than four years old. Previous fridges I have owned last for at least 10 years without problems. One major design deficiency the fridge has is that it does not warn you that the compressor has failed. It still sounds like it is working. It was only when we found the melted ice cram in the freezer that we know something was wrong. Since LG are none to have compressor that fail often, it should have an alarm that goes off when the temp drops too much. The good news for us is that LG paid to have the defective compressor replaced. It only took 24 hours for them to get a service person here—that par to it was positive. We are now looking at getting a replacement, since we have lost confidence in our LG refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I brought it home I have to keep setting it lower and lower to get refrigerator below 40, Have 4 different thermometers in it to verify, Now it’s set at 34 and finally temperature dropped to below 40. Freezer has no issues.LG repair coming out next week.

It stopped working already. We had hoped to have it as long or longer than our first refrigerator. So sad. It worked good while we had it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received a new fridge after a long way and I have to admit I’m quite happy with it with the counter deep space it was a lot more room than the older fridge we replaced. Living in an older style apartment we had to make sure it would fit into the space.

I only wish there was a cover for dairy products in one of the upper door shelves and I wish the freezer drawer slid in and out easier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this product about 7 weeks ago. It is working great, runs so quiet. I like the internal layout for storage. It is handy being able to use two doors to store smaller items like ketchup, mustard. I like the bottom drawer for cheese and lunch meat storage. The veggie and fruit drawers can be switched by a slide adjustment, very handy. Also temperature control is easy with the digital settings. All said, very satisfied with this product. I would recommend to anyone considering a new refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG refrigerator because from the reviews that I read, LG was supposed to be one the best. The compressor features less moving parts, however my compressor failed in less than a year. The worse part is it failed right after I went shopping for my annual memorial day cookout. It worked great until it didn't work at all. Well the light still comes on, but the fridge or freezer doesn't get cool at all.
