Noisy vibrations & fingerprints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a larger fridge that was 15 years older than this one and it was silent. Was surprised that this smaller newer product was much louder (hum and vibration). The compressor is so loud on this and vibrates so much that part of the noise pollution comes from the glass bottles in the fridge vibrating on the shelves. And the shelves are made with hard plastic and items light enough can vibrate on it as well. The fingerprints are new to us and we will try the special cleaner for stainless. And the ice maker is crazy loud as well. Never new our other fridge was such a whisper. Also, one of the shelves is sitting on top of the fridge because there is a lack of enough slots to reposition it for us. I do like the pantry door.

Need more flexibility on the shelves

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After seeing and buying the refrigerator thinking this is more room than my older refrigerator with slightly less cubic ft. However, I no riced that a gallon of OJ and ocean spray juice are tall bottles and I couldn’t fit them in the refrigerator unless I removed of the shelves. Very annoying

Obsolete Model already

Nice looking good price and I was in love with this however its only a few months old and I spilled something in it. while attempting to clean the glass above the vegetable crisper it broke. I have tried to replace this however LG does not have a part number for the glass as that part is now obsolete? good luck getting any parts to keep this going as mine is only a few months old and they are already putting this model out to pasture.

Cheap plastc components

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic components of this refrigerator are so cheap! Two of the plastic door buckets broke within a few months and another is about to go. Also the cover on the glide and serve drawer broke off. Then you have buy replacements for an already proven defective part

No Filter for the Ice Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased, but not yet received my new refrigerator Model # LFCS22520S. I found while researching this site that this fridge doesn't have a replaceable filter for water going to the Ice maker. This info is only available if you search reviews. Hopefully, there are no other shortcomings LG forgot to mention.

Great fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the few 30" that had the french doors and bottom freezer like we wanted. All french door fridges are limited in door space and how you can arrange the shelving. Overall, though, we haven't had any issues with the fridge and love it.

LG Model LFCS22520S - 01 Brittle Plastic

I've had this Refrigerator for about 3 years and over that period one piece of plastic after another has cracked and broken. The quality of the plastic used in making the trays and compartment enclosures is extremely low. LG could have put a bit more into the quality using a plastic like polycarbonate but they didn't bother. This is infuriating because my refrigerator is falling apart and does not function properly any more. DO NO BUY THIS MODEL!

It's okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many, this smaller french-door model was chosen due to space constraints in our kitchen. It is a bit smaller in width than our former model yet is deeper. That deepness makes it a bit tough to reach things at the back, so I'm using plastic baskets to hold jars and such, easy to pull out a basket to find what I want. The interior plastic bins, especially in the freezer seem to be made of really wimpy plastic, thin and soft. I'm a bit concerned about how long they'll last. Surprisingly, the ice bin is super deep, way too big for the amount of ice we will use, but if you use lots of ice you'll love this. We do like that the ice comes out in cube shapes instead of crescents. We don't like that the french doors don't close themselves at all. You really need to be on top of getting those doors shut as the unit offers no soft-close assistance. The handy door alarm tells you if you've left a door open. We do like that the LED light is flush with the ceiling of the unit, allowing all of the height for food storage. Having said all that, it's still a new unit to us and we're learning about it. It is not too noisy. The freezer freezes and the refrigerator cools and those are the main points. If you have a small-ish space this should work fine for your. I did not give it a higher rating due to the inferior materials used on the interior, they feel cheaply made in my opinion.

Hi, there.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on the LG Refrigerator (LFCS22520S) model. It's good to hear that the unit is effectively delivering on its main purpose of freezing and cooling. However, we understand your concern about the unit's deepness, which makes it difficult to reach items at the back. We appreciate your suggestion of using plastic baskets to improve accessibility. Always broken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the fridge is sleek and it fits great, however, the fridge has broken twice since I purchased it. Each time, LG has repaired it, but I've lost hundreds of dollars worth of food (twice!). I would not purchase from this appliance brand again.

I love our new refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had it about a month and love everything about it . When I emptied the old refrigerator into a cooler and loaded everything the new LG my wife asked what did I do with the rest of the food . I told " this is it ". Love the adjustable / split shelves . The freezer on the bottom is great , having the veggie doors and meat waist high is nice.
