We decided to go with this particular model because it had what we were looking for other than it lacked the water dispenser. Everything else has been great! The French door design appears to free up space that you typically wouldn't have with a side by side. In addition this fridge offered the best warranty compared to other models. Overall we're very pleased with our purchase.

I Would like to Mentions Couple Things: - This Fridge is Not Smudge/ Fingerprint Resistant, I just easily wipe with damp cloth. - Since this Fridge Door made from Austenitic Stainless Steel which has a High resistance to corrosion but is not magnetic, so magnets will not stick to the front, but, YES, it will stick on the sides that are not Stainless Steel. - Yes, it has Ice Maker will require an External In-Line Water Filter System ( Optional ), The Ice Maker has been design with an Automatic Shut-Off Program and On/ Off Power Switch next to the HUGE Ice Bin. - There is NO, Water Dispenser inside The Fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love our French door refrigerator - so easy to use, very easy to clean. Shelves are adjustable. drawers are large and the freezer section is huge! I heard a noise in the freezer, called LG, the tech walked me through how to run a diagnostic test, everything was fine - the ice dispenser switch had been switched to "on" by mistake (we do not have it connected to water). Easy fix to correct the problem. But the bonus of getting a quick diagnosis was fabulous - great support!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are certainly some features on older model refrigerators that I wish that I had thought about before purchasing my new one. First, a stainless steel finish, I would definitely not recommend. Every time you touch any surface, it leaves fingerprints and marks. That means you're cleaning it constantly. Second, a bigger and deeper refrigerator/freezer space may sound good but in actual practice much greater organizational thought is required in order to easily access your food. Specifically a deep freezer means that some foods can easily be buried and foods are not necessarily rotated through as often as they should. I'm not as satisfied as I hoped to be with my new refrigerator.

Keeps everything fresh and cold, and the ice-maker works well, with small enough cubes to fit easily into sports bottles, etc. We like the bottom freezer and the pullout fridge drawer for cheeses and other deli items. The double top doors are convenient. The only downside that we've discovered so far is a lack of flexibility for the placement of the main glass shelves. On our previous model, you could adjust some shelves up or down to create a taller space on one side of the fridge. That isn't possible with this model, and neither side has quite enough space for a full gallon of milk, a bottle of wine, or other tall condiment bottles to fit. The only space for tall items like this is in the door shelves, and that's pretty limited.

Even though the capacity is the same, this French door fridge holds a bit more because of the space configuration. Great refrigerator at a reasonable price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased August 2018, and unfortunately just had to replace it. Freezer stopped working, LG service sent a new compressor November 2024, however repairman sad the compressor still didn't fix it and recommended the fridge be scrapped.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like this product very much. It is economical, quiet, and stylish. The only complaints I have with it concern shelf flexibility. The door shelves do not hold as much as my old top-freezer model of the same stated capacity. I have to remove/relocate the door bins frequently. The other shelves do not have enough adjustment levels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought because I needed a 30" width and wanted a bottom freezer. It developed an annoying hum/rattling noise after the first day, but it disappeared after about 4 days. Otherwise has been quiet, and I love the depth, flexible shelving and the spacious freezer. Only 2 quibbles: the lights are in the front of the fridge and freezer, which makes it hard to see things in the dark back parts. Also it needs about 15" on each side for the doors to open all the way, so is not ideal to be placed next to a wall. The deli tray won't slide all the way out if both doors aren't fully open. I knew this and chose it anyway, but buyer beware, as some of the photos may give you a different impression.
