A gemstone that has been well cut reflects light evenly across its surface and, because of its perfect symmetry, also displays a dazzling luster. Clarity

A gemstone’s clarity depends upon the inclusions present in the gem, how visible these inclusions are, and whether they affect the overall beauty and aesthetics of the gemstone. Some inclusions are not visible to the naked eye; some are visible but don’t detract from the gemstone’s natural beauty; some show prominent inclusions that have a severe impact on the stone’s appearance and beauty.
