All of my male relatives died of heart attacks and young ages and that was from both sides of the family. Just had my 81 birthday. There is, however, a growing belief that COQ10 may be the exception and that it does provide many benefits, especially for prescription statin users (Lipitor etc.). This particular version is Ubiquinol which is most readily absorbed by the body (water and oil soluble). Regular COQ10 must first be converted to Ubiquinol by your body. I will say that I felt a difference almost the very first day since I started taking this product. It is not cheap, but for something that works like this, I will continue to buy it.
