After turning 50 I switched to ubiquinol about 7 or 8 years ago I found Qunol Ubiquinol and it became my favorite. My wife's doctor advised her to start taking CoQ10 a few years ago. As she recently turned 50 I started her on Qunol Ubiquinol too. Mind you neither one of us have heart problems and we both want to do the best we can to keep it that way.

I have literally spoken to and pleaded with everyone from my hairstylist to every primary care provider and specialist I saw to help me determine the cause of my hair loss. I found that taking CoQ10 was the answer!! For years, my hairstylists would confirm that it was coming out from the roots and not as a result of breakage. It had been recommended for me to try Biotin supplements, but this did not help. My hair would fall out in a handful of strands multiple times a day and especially when I washed my hair. I believe that my cardiologist is the best in town so therefore, I wanted the best CoQ10. I tried others at first, but after trying Qunol Superior Absorption, I decided that this one was the best. Unfortunately, I still had a second heart attack later but I still rely on my CoQ10 and as well as my cardiologist.

After trying several statins and suffering crippling joint and muscle pain my doctors tried a different approach. I started Qunol Mega Ubiquinol for 30 days and then added the statin drug back in. Lipids are much improved and I don't suffer the joint and muscle pain like before.

I have been using it for the last year. I'm not sure if the capsules really need to be red, but I don't see a dye listed in the ingredients. It would be much better if you didn't package it in a huge cardboard box, twice the size of the bottle. It's wasteful, and not needed, even though it can be recycled. I might look into a brand that just sells the bottle without a huge box.

Within 3 days of starting to consume it was easily identifiable to me I could finally take a deep breath, a healthy natural full capacity chest/lungs inhaled breath.
