As we get older, our bodies have a harder time converting Coq10 to Ubiquinol...that is why this is an important supplement to take.

I am on several medications, one in particular is Atorvastatin. I have tried everything from Potassium pills to eating bananas like they were going out of style, yet I still would be woke up in the night from my calves or feet cramping up so bad that I would want to cut them off!, lol. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been taking Simvastin for 15 years and had leg cramps all along. I attributed it to a low potassium level. When I had my blood checked this was not the case. My doctor recommend taking CoQ10 based upon his research of how it interacts with statins. At first the cramps did not go away, however after taking CoQ10 for 3 months they appeared to have subsided. I am also taking Eliquis and am in AFIB. I am noticing that I am bruising easier. Life has it's trade offs

I have tried taking another product which actually gave me more arrhythmias, so i do recommend Ubiuinol CoQ10 tablets which are also so easy to swallow despite its size.
