It is not obvious to me if they help but I keep taking them. I have had no ill effects from taking Ubiquinol.

It is difficult to ensure that we get enough antioxidants in our daily diets to help us be healthy. So why take an antioxidant that isn't rapidly absorbed and, therefore, not working at a high level? I like that COq10 is fast absorbing, has no after taste, and is easy to take each day with my regular vitamin regimen.

I take anywhere between 200 to 300 milligrams a day and have no problems with muscle pain when I go hiking or biking. really happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I believe I was first introduced to the theory of the importance of CoQ10 years ago by reading articles written in Life Extention magazine..The thing that hit home was the fact all cells require co Q10 especially the BRAIN , MUSCLES ESPECIALLY THE HEART MUSCLE ...and our body does not manufacture as much as we age .The trend was to lower cholesterol because it was and still is theorized that high cholesterol causes heart attack. Both my husband's and my cholersterol are elevated , resultantly we have been taking statins. ..surprisingly ,None of our doctors have recommended CoQ10 . However we have consistently been taking some form of coQ 10 since being before being put on statins . We need to counteract the BAD side effects of statins as it depletes levels of CoQ10 . Because Quonol is more readily available to our cells , we switched to it from CoQ10. .

I believe that it helps my body and mind function at a higher level by supplying added elements not always found in western diets. The biggest drawback is how DIFFICULT it is to get the protective lift seal off after taking the lid off of the bottle.
