Regular CoQ10 is soluble only in fat but Qunol Ubiquinol is soluble on both water and fat, making it more available to cells. With other CoQ10 supplements, your body must first absorb the CoQ10 (a very inefficient process because regular CoQ10 is not soluble in water), and then it must convert the CoQ10 into Ubiquinol in order for your cells to use it. Qunol Ubiquinol is absorbed much more efficiently since it is soluble in both water and fats and is immediately available at the cellular level since there is no need to convert CoQ10 into Ubiquinol, which is the biologically active form of CoQ10. It is easy to digest and absorb due to its water soluble properties. I have a lot of digestive issues. This formula is so gentle on my system, no repeating or bloating. I'm on a statin and get muscle cramps. Qunol has done a better job than other brands in helping stave off the cramping. If I skip a few doses of Qunol I definitely notice the cramping increase.
