Rather than reading one or two articles and jumping on the bandwagon with new trends or fads in supplements, I do extensive study on the subject on a long list of credible websites. One's health is so important that I won't begin adding chemicals and compounds to my body without careful study and consideration. Yes I have found that CoQ10 is a necessary supplement at my age (70), and especially with a family history of cardio-vascular issues and taking prescription statins. I have great respect for Consumer Labs testings and ratings and Qunol's Ubiquinol is rated very high, especially for its absorption, quality and cost. I've been taking this excellent product for over 3 years and am very satisfied.

I went to a Lipodologist who recommend natural supplements, but also counsels that I use a CoQ10 supplement to boost that enzyme in my body. As you get older you produce less of coq10 in your body. If you take a statin even more. CoQ10 is an antioxidant that your body produces naturally. Your cells use it for growth and maintenance.

Every dr recommended coq10; however, they failed to tell me a brand or what to look for. One even says just go get the cheapest one at a vitamin shop. Yeah no way! I researched a ton and found Qunol. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been taking CoQ10 for many years , Qunol's Mega CoQ10 Ubiquinol is by far my favorite. I love the fact that it's water and fat soluble which I believe greatly improves the absorption. Also Broadens the times I can take it during the day. When I took only the fat soluble type I had to remember to take it with a meal or a fatty snack to be sure of absorption. The health benefits are numerous.. I will be taking this brand indefinitely. Love it !

I have 2 family members with cognitive impairment and I'm hoping that by taking this, I can avoid or delay having the same issues. The Qunol is also thought to have heart benefits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As most probably know, ubiquinol is what we are aiming for. Coq10 is great, but as we get older it's harder for the body to convert coq10 to ubiquinol. I use this product daily to help ensure I live a heart healthy life.

Since taking Qunol, her Blood Pressure has been under control (with prescription meds as well), She has had no gum issues or bleeding gums. Her energy is like someone half her age. She's had a few medical issues in the past and we feel Qunol is a safe supplement / antioxidant that may help her as she ages.
