Had my physician check my heart with an EKG, and he referred me to a cardiologist who had me wear a 24-hour heart monitor. All of this found no apparent reason for the "flutter." I started using Qunol Ubiquinol upon the recommendation of a third physician, who was helping my sister with her similar cardiac sensations. After only a few days of use totally relieved my symptoms. I have continued using Qunol Ubiquinol as prevention, except when I would occasionally forget to take Ubiquinol for a few days, and had the "flutter" return, it quickly abated when starting back on Ubiquinol. Great product!

This is not by a doctor. I just started taking it and got those results. I used another brand that was less expensive and it did not work as well. I also went without for a time and ended going to a cardiologist because of the frequency of palpitations. I decided to take this product again and it really helps. With my doctor's approval I began using Qunol more than a year ago and I truly believe that it has been beneficial to my health. My 4-star rating is just because the softgels are somewhat larger than I would like them to be, which could be problematic for some other seniors.

I also am 68 and know that as we age our natural ability to produce CoQ10 decreases. I take a statin for cholesterol control and statins are know to lower our natural CoQ10 levels. So I want the best form of CoQ10 available. I use this product because Qunol's form of CoQ10 is soluble in both fats and water so its bio-availability in the body is significantly better than all other forms of CoQ10 on the market which are only fat soluble. Powdered forms of CoQ10 do not dissolve in water and because CoQ10 is a very large molecule it has difficulty passing through the intestinal lining. Qunol CoQ10 is designed to dissolve in the watery environment of the intestine and because it is soluble in both fats and water it crosses the intestinal lining more easily. CoQ10 also neutralizes free radicals, the biochemical products of metabolism that can cause damage to DNA and other vital molecules. CoQ10 even regenerates Vitamin E, another important antioxidant. Qunol's CoQ10 is able to act more effectively as a strong antioxidant and regenerator of vitamin E because of its solubility in both fats and water, allowing it to cross cell membranes and do its important work at the cellular level.
